We've had Christian to two jobs, mending some broken springs and cushion filling material replacement. Cannot fault the service or price. The furniture is like new.

Absolutely an amazing job restoring my dining room table. A real challenge as one of the leafs had some deep scratches on it but these have been removed and the table looks brand new!

Christian was helpful from the outset. He was polite and responsive to calls and messages. On the day he arrived at the agreed and stated time, he was courteous and complied with COVID guidelines. He has rejuvenated my two leather settees to a great standard, and provided me with guidance on how to keep them looking good. I would highly recommend his services.

Fantastic service. Professional and reliable. Very personable. Highly recommended. We used Christian (Alexander Christian Ltd) to replace the foam cushions on our three piece suite and to have it all cleaned. Result! Like having a new suite, meaning we now don't have to find the cost of replacing the suite. Delighted!

Christian and his son recently restored our 1980's Stag Minstrel bedroom furniture and we are delighted with the result. The pieces look as good as new and we felt that their charges for the work were appropriate. The service was friendly and professional throughout. Christian carried out an absolutely fantastic repair on our leather sofa.The scuff mark was completely removed. Christian is very knowledgeable and even gave me some recommendations for aftercare products to prolong the life of leather sofas. Really helpful. Highly recommended.

Having recently been fobbed off by Oak Furnitureland in Chester when enquiring about having some water damage to an oak dining room table repaired, contacted Alexander Christian Ltd. I sent them a photograph, and promptly received a call detailing that they could repair the table in our home, gave a quote for repair and arranged a date/time. The repair Christian did was fantastic and it was great to watch a true professional restore the table back to what it had been before. Christian did a superb job in correcting some problems encountered with the assembly and set up of a new Calligaris extending table. Beneath the surface there is a lot going on mechanically and Christian quickly got to the heart of the problem and ensured that all three leaves were level and aligned. He made it look simple, but in reality it is not something easily done by someone who doesn’t know what they are doing. He explained the process as he went along and gave some general advice and guidance on maintenance and care as well. He had a can do attitude. Excellent service.

Very professional, they came out promptly, it is such a delight these days for a tradesman to come when he says he would.
The job was done quickly and efficiently.
They wore masks and removed their shoes in the hallway.
The job was to repair my recliner chair, and if I need any further repairs to my furniture, I will be happy to call on this firm again.

Christian repaired my snapped mechanism on my electric recliner sofa. Christian also completed a repair to the stitching on a seam of the leather.
Finally he managed to fit 2 new hinges on my leather footstool.
Christian is a genius & managed to weld the part within a week & completed all the jobs to an exemplary standard.

Fantastic service from Alexander Christian. Furniture damaged in transit when transhipping from Spain to UK. French polished and restored damaged dining room furniture back to its former glory. Lovely guy, very friendly and professional. Would highly recommend.

Had some accidental scratches on leather couch, Christian came and sorted them within 10 minutes. Was polite and professional and did a fabulous job! Looks as good as new! Would 100% recommend!
