Pencraig Campsite

Me and my partner decided last minute to go away for 2 days in our campervan we didn't plan anything and just drove we ended up driving past pencraig campsite and decided to stop and see if we could stop the night.
The lady came out was so friendly and instantly made me feel welcome there was no problem with us staying and we pitched up connected to the electrics and was settled we ended up staying there to nights the shower block and toilets were amazing so clean and it was so cheap to stay there we went to the oyster catcher.

Here is a very nice and well-kept small campsite on the edge of meadows, horses and cows.
There is a small village shop here with coffee, milkshake and other conveniences.
About the place itself: The sanitary facilities are well-kept and valuable. Each pitch also has electricity and water.
Always my pleasure.

We stayed in the static at Pencraig. It's a small campsite with a reception and shop/ take away cafe where you can get brekkie. The staff are lovely and very friendly. It has seasonal pitches and also pitches for tourers and tents. It also has The Milking Shed which is a holiday let and a Bell tent.
A hidden gem in Angelsey.

Lovely little camp site with electric and water right next to each plot. showers are really good with big rain drop head and toilets are kept clean and tidy. Cafe and shop open in the morning doing breakfast too. Would definitely come back again 👍👌

Lovely campsite with modern and clean toilet and shower block. Great location for exploring anglesey. We stayed in the Bell tent which was lovely and spacious with a comfortable double bed and sofa bed. Would recommend a stay 👌

Lovely campsite with excellent facilities. Small, with plenty of room. Nice location. Little cafe with reasonably priced coffee and breakfast options. Would highly recommend!

Wow.. what can you say is wrong with the campsite... Nothing... Fantastic family run site with 29 pitches each with running water and electric.
Friendly welcome from owners.. shower block always clean and tidy.. if your looking for a quiet campsite you can't go wrong with Pencraig.

Great quiet location only two miles from Valley station and about 4 miles from Holyhead station - it has a bus route number 61 from Holyhead to Amlwch - 6 buses a day each way Monday to Saturday and not Sundays and the stop is just at the end of the drive - - anyway i shared a taxi with a friend from Holyhead and a great reception by the owner who took us to or pitches in his pick up truck!! Large decent spaces for either a large tent or campervan or caravan and a car if needed - each pitch is segregated and numbered and has its own electrical hook up if needed and a tap between two. Excellent shower and toilet facilities and I did not have to wait - there is a shop and a great idea of breakfasts cooked to order and baps 0830 to 1130 but NOT on Wednesdays as as they do deserve a day off!! A couple of nights they do ices and milk shakes but the notice is out when they do it may just Friday and Saturday nights - quiet location friendly campers - great for the Welsh Coast path Lovely quiet location and would use again - only had to queue really for the washing up for which thee is only one sink

Great site, just had a week here. Would highly recommend! A fairly small site with easy access to water and electricity (even in a tent like we were) great toilets and lovely hot showers. Beautiful views of Angelessy and close to everything you might need.

Stayed a couple of nights in their Bell tent for a birthday weekend. Fantastic site, great facilities and a superb location.
Friendly and helpful staff made this a great place, ideal for a getaway.

Full credit to the friendly owners of this place whom actually live on campus and take care of the site as an extension of their home. Our family did not know what to expect but were so pleasantly surprised to arrive to a Glamping tent that was fully setup with a double bed, a sofa bed, stove and ELECTRICITY in the tent! And all so very clean.

The shower and toilet facilities are also 5* and high end.

The glamping tent is on the corner of the site, giving you panoramic views of a beautiful field and a friendly horse would come over to our area making my daughters feel like they they had to take it home. Yes there was tears saying goodbye to the horse.

I would give it 6* if that was available, well done guys!

Great little site. Owners investing heavily with new toilet block to a really good standard, plenty on space on the pitches, not cramped at all, with all electric hook ups having own water taps. Owners very friendly and keen to give campers and caravaners a great experiance

Lovely little campsite ,near to Holyhead and lots of beaches . Nice to have electric hookup with tap near , lovely shower and toilet block, regularly cleaned ( shower was amazing I need one like this in my house ! ) friendly owners and staff . We'll be back

10 mins from trearddur bay

I have been visiting Wales for 15 years and this is by far the best campsite I have visited.
It is very easy to find and literally 5 mins drive away from 2 supermarkets a subway, a pub, petrol station and much more. There are multiple beaches 10 mins drive away from the site as well.
All the amenities were spotless with nice hot showers. The views are amazing and the owners were friendly and welcoming, I was given some complementary fresh free range eggs on arrival which i though was a nice touch.
The price was affordable and I would of happily paid more.
All in all I would give this site 5 stars, perfect location, great price and amenities 👍

Gorgeous, small and friendly campsite. Two statics to hire plus pitches for tents, tourers and motorhomes. No kids play equipment which is a plus for us! Plenty of space for kids to play up the middle and the plots are spacious.
Peaceful spot just a short drive from a Spar, camping shop and chippy then a about 15 minutes drive to Holyhead. Owners are friendly and helpful. They collected our caravan from Yorkshire as we didn't want to tow and it is now stored here and pulled out for us when we book to come.

Great campsite! Friendly and laid back. Shower and toilet block immaculate and good quality. Good condition field, no mud - even with spells of torrential rain. Won't hesitate to recommend it.

Came here for the bank holiday weekend and this being our first stay at the campsite we were very happy with our stay and the very good onsite facilities. The campsite is not a far drive from Treaddur Bay and Holyhead. We will definitely look to stay again.

Fantastic campsite. Owner is super friendly. We found this site after our usual site was fully booked. Have been going ever since. Would highly recommend this place

Very clean site with friendly owners. Close to beach and little town, lovely views. Only down point was there,was only one Male and one female toilet and shower room...however I could see that they are building more, would definitely visit again.
