Love My Socks / Moorlands Wool & Crafts

Second review, back for another visit today to the much bigger shop now that Love My Socks/Moorland Wool and Crafts has moved to its third location in Getliffes Yard in Leek. Shop is full of lovely wool, lots of ranges and colours, plus books and knitting notions, kits, bags and gifts plus a new range of items from Emma Ball. Very pleased to see that covid safety has continued in this shop, sanitiser at the door and people are kindly asked to wear a mask whilst in the shop and if you don't want to wear a mask you can be served outside (notice outside to tell you )

I have been a customer of Moorlands Wool and crafts since Amanda was in the smaller shop across the way. She stocks the most beautiful ranges of yarns both mainstream and independents and the choice of gifts has always come in handy for Christmas and birthdays. Nothing is too much trouble for Amanda.if she doesn't have what I need she always tries to get it in for me. She remembers which projects I have been in talking about and is always keen to know what I'm making next. If you're in the market for some lovely yarn from a lovely lady then head on into Getliffes Yard and see Amanda. You won't be disappointed

Great shop, super friendly and knowledgably staff, wide range of product including proper/ luxury wool yarns as well as cheaper acrylic/ poly blends.

Had a lovely visit to this treasure trove of a wool shop today. A lovely wide range of yarns, and some beautiful hand dyed yarns from local dyers. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and pointed me in the direction of some gorgeous yarns and patterns to try out.
Will definitely be back to visit next time I’m visiting the area.

Love My Socks is a lovely shop, tucked away in Getliffe's Yard in Leek. If you're a crafter you'll know that you can never have too many craft supplies and Love My Socks is sure to satisfy the need for just that little bit more, especially if you knit or crochet. It's a little gem of a shop, there's lots of different craft kits you didn't know you needed and definitely worth a visit.

I am so glad I happened upon this lovely sock shop whilst in Leek. There is a good variety of socks in all sorts of styles and colours to choose from. Some British-made socks caught my eye, and the lady helpfully explained the current special offers. She even fetched a different coloured pair which weren’t on display for me. Lovely shop, great service. Well worth a visit.

Really good wool shop with "buy me" accessories. A treasure trove of goodies and a wide selection of good quality yarn. This would be my go to shop if I lived nearby.

Wonderful little shop, in a beautiful enclosed courtyard, lots of lovely yarns to choose from and gorgeous accessories/gifts too, will definitely visit again.

Lovely little shop we stumbled across. Friendly owners and they have a huge selection of socks and wool. We passed their 50% sale board of socks/bamboo tights outside and picked up a pair.

I visited Love My Socks on the advice of my Chiropodist at Chesterfield Foot Clinic. It was worth the trip, I was spoilt for choice and the service was excellent. I went for socks and came away with a knitting pattern as well. Highly recommend.

I found this lovely wool and sock shop by accident, but it's full of beautiful things. The owner couldn't have been more helpful or pleasant, and a promised order was delivered very promptly and efficiently.

There may be a lockdown but this doesn’t stop the wonderful service from Love my socks. Need some wool, give her a ring and she’ll have it in the post as quick as lightning. Wonderful shop.
