Stayed at the Lodge for a few days; it was full of rustic charm and character. This is an excellent location set among ancient forests and rolling hills which provided a good base for cycling the "Raider Road" and using the canoes to explore Loch Ken. Beautiful location with abundance of wildlife.

We camped for 2 nights on this beautiful estate 😍, the site had great facilities and we were able to choose our own pitch which was great. The staff couldn't do enough for us and were always available when we needed them. Paddle boarding was excellent from the boat house, the kids (and adults!) had a ball. We will definitely be back 😊.

Amazingly private site. Pitch up is simple and relaxed. You have loads of space to yourself at each pitch. Toilets and showers very good, clean and lots of hot water!

We stayed in our campervan and had a great time here.

We had a lovely 4 night stay camping. The estate is stunning and campsite operated in a relaxed manner. You are able to pitch where you want. The facilities were clean, and showers powerful and hot.

Love this site. Huge and wild, so much space, in a beautiful and incredibly quiet place. The weather has always been kind to us here too, and the stars on a clear night are extraordinary. Toilets clean, showers almost too hot..! great place

A brilliantly run campsite with very clean toilet and shower facilities. Plenty to see and do nearby.
The campsite is located in a very beautiful, rural part of Scotland with stunning scenery and dark skies at night.

What a wonderful place. Went with my 10 year old Grandson to Drumlanrig pod. Lots to do or just sit by the camp fire and relax. Michelle is so friendly and helpful site and toilets are spotless. Paddleboarding, kayaking brilliant.
Absolutely fantastic

We had the most loveliest stay at the beginning of July. A little hidden Gem!
The shower blocks and washing up station were great, and kept super clean. We loved the option of adding water sports into your stay, we hired a paddle board for a couple of hours and had a fab time.
A lovely quiet campsite, with the basics you need for a great stay.

Had an amazing bank holiday weekend break, over the weekend of the coronation of kind Charles.

It was my first time camping and what a lovely family/owners to deal with. The whole family are amazing and really do try their best to attend to everybodies needs.

The location is beautiful, facilities such as toilets, showers and sink/wash area are immaculate! They are regularly cleaned and maintained.

The family really do take pride in their site and you can see it through and through. The father is always of a quad bike driving past daily just to see how your getting on, if you've settled in and if you need any fire logs.

The good thing with this site is there's loads of land to park up and pitch up which allows you to be a good distance away from everybody if you wish or you can stay close to the glamping pods.

The atmosphere at night is really beautiful with people's firepits going, burnich marshmallows and lovely landscapes around. On our last night we also had sheep walking past our tents. It really does have an authentic and raw camping feel to it and you are away from everything. It's so peaceful and quiet.

The nearest shops are roughly 15minutes away where you can find a tesco supermarket, boots, fish and chips, ice cream and desserts etc.

Absolutely fantastic! Lovely spread out, pick your own pitches, site! Star gazing was unreal, just wish it was warmer so I could have stayed out longer! Bike hire onsite, just pay and get a code to unlock which bike you are wanting. BBQ can be borrowed also. New shower and toilet blocks were amazing and clean!
They literally have thought of everything!!

Fantastic, relaxed campsite, almost feels like you're wild camping but with the added luxury of hot showers and loos (really good pressure and spotlessly clean!). Logs available to purchase nightly and firepits available. Situated in a picturesque setting, during our stay it was very peaceful, would highly recommend the walk along the river to the rspb bird hides. We will definitely be returning! Thanks for a great stay 😊👍

Had a lovely quiet relaxing weekend. So much space to choose from with great views all round it was hard to decide where to pitch. Clean toilet block with red hot powerful showers. Dogs loved swimming in the river at mirror pool. Great dark sky site too. Highly recommended.

Perfect place to set up camp. Our first camping experience as a family of 5 with 3 young children and it was brilliant. Toilet and shower facilities are spot on and the markee provided a great communal area. The sky at night was breathtaking. We spent a few hours by Woodhall Loch which was idyllic. The campsite is the perfect place to set up camp to explore the beautiful surroundings and experience what nature has to offer. Can't wait to return! Thank you.

Just coming to the end of a great 5 night stay, could have stayed longer. Great well kept family run site. Facilities and estate lovely and clean. Brilliant hot showers with plenty of space. Our daughter had a great paddle board down the river. Really friendly family and great site. Hope to visit again soon.

Absolutely beautiful site, perfect for what we wanted. Basic amenities were more than enough for us, everyone was exceedingly friendly, the grounds were spectacular, and the nature reserve bordering the estate was absolutely stunning. In fact, we loved our stay so much that we immediately booked again to finish our NC500 tour with a stay here! This will be the site of hopefully many adventures - if you're wondering whether to book it or not, just do it.

This campsite is highly recommended by myself and my friends who stayed here for a last-minute one-night check in. The views are stunning with pathways all over for places to walk, adventure, and explore. There are hot lovely showers and toilets facilities onsite. Alongside this, there are fire bins provided to allow campers to have open fires which is lovely. furthermore, there are local amenities not far from this campsite such as a small village shop. Definitely rate this campsite highly for its viewing of the night sky potential. When we arrived, it was fairly cloudy, but on trips to the bathroom in the nighttime we caught absolutely stunning views of the milky way and the moon, we even saw Uranus! Great stay and a big thanks to Michelle for taking us in at last minute and making us feel more than welcome! Highly recommended- Anna, Amii, Rhyanna, Natalie :) x

A beautiful, idyllic campground in the heart of dumfrieshire. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful, and keep the amenities on site in impeccable condition. The electric hookup area is new this year and they are constantly improving the site. 10/10, we will definitely be going back!

Beautiful drive up to the actual site. The site is massive, quite literally rolling hills with roaming sheep, absolutely beautiful. Very clean unisex shower/toilet block and they offer bikes/paddle boats to rent. Would definitely come again. Very reasonably priced.
