Peel Park

One of my favourite parks, even in the winter. During the spring flower beds are planted and the trees are gorgeous. There’s a beautiful river streaming through that just adds to the calming atmosphere of the place.

Beautiful expense of flowers and ark. Child play area includes as well as a Riverside. River Orwell runs by this park so everything is there!!

Amazing place to hang out and have some outdoor fun. Ideal for sunny days nice and refreshing gardens. Huge playground and scenic riverside nearby

Very beautiful park located opposite to Salford Museum and Art Gallery. There are plenty to tracks to walk, old trees, playground, bridge with view for the river. I seen Canadian gees there. Great place for walk alone or with dog, meeting and chatting with friends.

Beautiful city centre park. Really well maintained, and playground for children. Also situated on the banks of the river Irwell. Also, near Salford Art gallery and museum.

Beautiful park..never been before, but its well kept, stuff for the younger and middle age groups to do. There's also a river that runs along side it. There's probably more to see but didn't get to the other end! It's formal garden has been around for over 100 years old and is breath takingly beautiful.

Really big space to hang around...
You can plan a very good picnic with family and friends...
A very good kids area with lot of swings and activities....
Kids with me really enjoyed the place...
And relaxing green area on canal side for adults
You can see ducks and swans on the canal to add to your mood....
Lot of colorful flowers adding to the beauty of the park and giving you good backgrounds for pictures....

Great park to spend with children and your dog. You can see there is a path with many people jogging or rent an electric scooter. There is a river with ducks and a playground that offers a few great toys for children to play, in saw there is even a small sandbox. When we were there everything was closed for food and I couldn't find a bathroom which is a problem. There were some picnic benches as well as some nice flowers and looks like they have done some work to improve the park. I noticed a rubber tire plastic and other garbage in the water which was a huge disappointment and hope they can put more effort into making it cleaner.

Great place, could be quiet busy, if the weather allows, but there's plenty of greenery for everyone. There's a olay area for the kids. You can enjoy reading, listening to music, resting or playing games with friends or on your own (some people played a game of football) and you can also enjoy cycling around the park.

Very beautiful 🤩 park, there are various activities, walking, you can do it with your kids or teens as well..

This is our favourite local go to park throughout the year. It's big so you can take a picnic or ride bikes along the trails. The river runs along the park so there is always ducks and geese swimming along all year round. I love grabbing my camera and taking photos here as it changes with the seasons.

If your a student, the campus is literally built around and runs directly through peel park. The student campus overlooks it.

Great for small 420 get togethers as visitors are very diverse and more liberal minded😉!

Peel park is a managed and well maintained green space with accessibility for wheel chairs. It has a playground for children. It also has lamp stands for lighting during adverse weather condition and night. Trash bins are strategically placed for ease of visibility. It also has garden. Peel park is indeed a nice place to be.

Beautiful Autumn scenery quite, swings for kids and the river runs the length .
No restroom, no café plenty of area to sit and enjoy your picnics.

Fantastic park to relax in or have a stroll around. Close to the art gallery and museum, which also has a brilliant cafeteria.

This park has everything! from having beautiful flowers, scenery, ark, play area and a safe place to relax!

Amazing park this...sentence peaceful and so very well designed and manicured. A hidden gem and great place to sit and read or have a picnic. Well located so close to the city centre
