Château De Pommard

One of the best winery in Burgundy.
The wines are very fine, floral, and elegant. They are getting very popular as there are more recognitions, high rating scores, prizes & accolades from big international stages.
A Must Visit.

1726 winery for all the Pinot Noir lovers. Xavier did our wine tasting of 6 different altitude wines and it was education, entertaining and delicious. Tasting was EUR 41 per person and prior booking was necessary (we booked a few days earlier). The estate is absolutely beautiful and worth taking a walk around towards the stables to have a look at how they grow the organic grapes. Highly recommended if visiting Pommard.

A lovely private tasting for our group of 5. It was great that our host spoke English and had marvelous insight into the winery, grounds, growing philosophy(biodynamic) and of course the wine.
We got a tour of the winery but it is in the beginnings of a major renovation that will take another 4 years.
They are adding a hotel and spa and making more room for wine production and storage. A Michelin restaurant is hoped for after the renovation.
They ship their wine all over the world.

The sommelier Jean was great, friendly and extremely helpful and gave us an in-depth explanation on the terroir of pommard and the surrounding areas. He also hosting a great tasting of 12 different wines and even carefully curated the wines to suit our tastes. He even helped with the shipping of wines back to singapore. Will definitely come back and order more wines and do a tasting.

Château de Pommard is an interesting winery in Burgundy, France. The wine tasting experience is a treat for wine enthusiasts. A must-visit spot in Pommard to savor the best of Burgundy's renowned wines.

What a wonderful unexpected pit stop on our way south! We just happened to notice it on the map around the time we needed a break, and despite not having a reservation the staff were very accommodating. The sommelier was very sweet, knowledgeable and happy enough to guide me through the collection in English. I was only able to make a small purchase this time but I hope to return under more plush circumstances and stock up my home collection! Delicious wines, small plot production clearly made by a dedicated team. Can’t wait to return!

During a walk around and on the heights of Pommard, we were warmly welcomed for a tasting and a tour of the castle and its garden. The chateau is currently under renovation, so there is not much to see in and around the chateau itself, but the warm welcome, explanations of the climates and the tasting made the visit quite memorable and well worth the price.

The chateau is being renovated but one can see the beauty in it.
A very warm welcome also.
And some of the finest wines that exist on this planet.
Looking forward to come again with the hotel opened!

Excellent private visit by Simon who knows a lot about the Burgundy wines but also travelled around the globe and is very entertaining.
The wines are expensive but excellent!

Visited the chateau at the end of the day, unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy a tasting because we had to return our rental bikes. The host called the rental company with the request to extend the rental for half an hour unfortunately this wasn’t possible. True and honest hospitality at this winery, would recommend every one to go here!

Adele gave us one of the best wine tasting tours we have had thus far. Very informative and humorous... learnt a lot about Pommard wines... did not know that one can only buy and try pommard wines in the chateau so i am glad i visited!

We had a wonderful tasting with Stephanie. She is extremely knowledgeable about the wines. There is construction going on now but it is not a problem. The wines are incredible and biodynamic as well. I would highly recommend!

Chateau De Pommard definitely deserves a 5 star review. Our guide, Bella, gave us an in-depth history of the region, detailed how the wine was made and how the different soils influenced the wine, and walked us through the 5 wines we sampled. The Chateau De Pommard is high class without being pretentious.

We visited for the Gourmet Experience – everything was excellent. The property is beautiful, check-in was easy, and our host Nicholas was fantastic. We enjoy wine, and visited Napa Valley for our honeymoon, but this was our first time in Burgundy, and we were a bit intimidated. Nicolas put us at ease, and explained Burgundy Pinot Noir & Chardonnay, and Château de Pommard history & wines in a professional, welcoming, and humble manner that Burgundy first-timers could understand & really enjoy. Highly recommend. Thanks for a great experience!

Nice Domain with some good value. The tour is worth the money with a guide team that is great (English speakers) offering some good education on Burgundy generally and the influence of limestone. tasting that is generous a opportunity to buy or ship if inclined. Remember that is ship then 20% off list price as local tax is not payable.

Simple but nice tour with some information about the château and the wines. The tasting was great. Be aware that wines are pretty high end and therefore quite pricey if you want to buy some bottles.
