La Table du Charbon

We eat there once a week on hols. Regularly booked out , it says a lot about the quality, value, and service. I'm coeliac and once they know on booking there are no problems with great food.

Lovely place in old, interesting town. Food delicious, various choices. Sunday brunch available. Jim and Becky good hosts. Would recommend.....

Have had drinks here a few times and really enjoy the atmosphere but today was the first time I have dined here. I came at lunch and enjoyed the best crepes I have ever had. After that I devoured a delicious roasted chicken with risotto and pumpkin. Today was a perfect fall day and my lunch tasted exactly like a delicious fall day. I really enjoyed talking to the Chefs, really lovely, talented people. And their dog is pretty cute too! Can't wait to come back!

Excellent little restaurant. The lady (owner) spoke excellent English. The menu was limited as it was mid-week but still pleasing. They were prepared to take into consideration that I do not eat vegetables, fungus or cheese and still managed to fill my stomach with three tasty courses and coffe with milk (which she called English coffee). The price was good value for money.

What a find!!! This lovely little French, country restaurant, tucked into a cozy corner in the village of Auzon, in the Auvergne region of southern France. The food and presentation delectable, yet non pretentious nor intimidating. The wine and beer, priced to good to be true! I ate there several times and was never disappointed with the plat du jour, every course prepared with care and attention.

I was there with friends and the poeple where great and the food is verry tasty, if youre ever near be shure to go there youre going to love it like we did.

un super arrêt. nous partions à Brioude aux Ets Philis (charcuterie ) sur notre route ce table La table du charbon. notre acceuil est parfait. le village de Auzon compte environ 90 âmes.
la patronne au service and bar. she is very friendly. her husband is cooker. notre entrée aux champignons is hot Good garlic.
notre main course Aligo avec roti de porc et salade verte.
crème brûlée
belle adresse.

Jim et Becky sont très sympathiques.
La cuisine est très bonne.

Accueil très sympathique, bonne ambiance et très bon repas avec un bon rapport qualité prix: pour 16,50 j'ai pris une délicieuse soupe de potiron, un bon bœuf bourguignon et un crumble de poires. J'ai bien aimé l'accueil chaleureux et les échanges internationaux

Un menu du jour à 17,50€ qui change tout les jours et composé de bon plats cuisinés maison.

Ons favoriete restaurant in Auzon. Nadat we een paar maal bij La Table du Charbon hadden gegeten, vertelden wij de eigenaren Becky en Jim dat wij zondag naar Nederland zouden vetrekken en dat wij vrijdagavond nog een keer bij hun wilden eten. Na alweer een uitstekende maaltijd werden wij verrast met een speciaal voor ons aan tafel klassiek bereidde geflambeerde Cherry Jubilee. Een nog nooit meegemaakte lieve geste. Geweldig.

A chaque fois un menu très délicieux, vous pouvez également le commander végétarien ! Ça vaut vraiment le détour.
