Le P'tit Cageot

The food was top class, I am a hobby cook but can only dream of getting such flavors out of my dishes. The team are exceptionally friendly and even the next day the chef saw us in town and spent time to talk to us and help us with our "must see" locations. I woke up thinking about the food this morning, go there and just be in awe of their culinary skills.

A real hidden gem tucked away in pedestrianised street just off the main drag. It’s a proper local restaurant that serves a small but perfectly curated seasonal menu with local produce.
Service was absolutely superb and so welcoming.
Every dish was superb - beautifully prepared and presented. Wonderful alfresco lunch.

Lovely food served by very friendly staff in a bijou restaurant with inside and outside tables. I only deducted a star because I would have liked more vegetables with my guinea fowl.

This was one of the best meals we’ve had while visiting the South of France! The entrees were amazing and the dessert was even better. The service was also wonderful! We will definitely be back and I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! You will not be disappointed the chef is amazing!

Sat at an outside table for lunch with friends and thoroughly enjoyed our meal with a bottle of Rose recommended by the waiter. We had this restaurant marked on our list and it didn't disappoint. Everyone ordered something different and each entree was delicious.

We enjoyed a very special meal at Le P'tit Cageot on our first day in Antibes. Everyone there was so friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is full of charm. The service is excellent. And, best of all, the gourmet cuisine was prepared by a very talented chef and was some of the best we have ever enjoyed. We wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful restaurant. It is truly special.

We had a wonderful meal at this Michelin rated restaurant. The menu is small but that is to be expected when dishes are done to perfection. The service was outstanding and the value/price was amazing for the quality of food. We had the menu of the day and choose the opposite dishes so we could try everything and it did not disappoint. A go to restaurant for us for sure. Insider tip. Make sure you make a reservation.

Nice little restaurant with reasonable prices for the quality of the menu.

We tried their fish of the day and we were amazed by how fresh and how perfectly cooked it was. Also the beef cheek was perfectly slow cooked but still grilled in the end for crispy top.

All in all correct in many details and with reasonable prices.

You need to book a few days in advance, or if you are last minute try to book for lunch, it is much less crowded then....

Hidden gem of Antibes ! Excellent food, great service and fair prices! Go for the fish and you won't be disappointed! The taste is fabulous, really unique, definitely the work of a great chef! Staff speaks both French and English. Didn't get a chance to taste their wine, surely next time!

Fantastic small hidden gem in Antibes tucked away on a small street from the rustle and bustle. It’s a small-ish menu but really delicious food and wine. We got the shade fish and beef for mains and the profiteroles for dessert. The fish was my personal favorite as the sauce is just phenomenal and fish perfectly cooked. Would highly recommend!

We had 2 excellent meals here on a recent trip to Antibes. Brilliant value menu (€37 for 3 courses) and a fun concept with the 'surprise' options for each course. Delicious food and the staff were lovely.

Every dish we had in this restaurant was delicious, the boef bourguignon, the chicken flan, the risotto, and the chicken. It’s in a small, quiet street in the middle of Antibes’ old city. Service was very friendly.

A truly fabulous little restaurant. Simple yet elegant French cuisine. Make sure you book as they are often full. The staff are very friendly, the prices reasonable for the quality of the food.

One of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had! We just happened to get a table by chance and it did not disappoint. The food was so good that we ordered a second main course. Both servers were amazing and very attentive. This is a must if you’re in Antibes!

Excellent lunch at this small bistro in Antibes. We had oeuf mimosa with dried mackerel and “pissaladière” with caramelized oignon, olives and anchovies. The egg had a great sorrel mayonnaise that elevated its taste and the dough of the pissaladière was really moist and warm. The bread basket had super tasty bread that helped with the mayonnaise. For main, we had “lotte” curry and wild sea bream both of which I highly recommend. The chef is using local fresh products but also adds a lot of different touches going beyond traditional french bistro cuisine.

We had a great time during our lunch here. It has a cozy feeling and the food was amazing, especially seafood. Wine selection is also great.

Wonderful dining experience for three of us at this intimate and welcoming restaurant. There is a compact menu that suggests the food is fresh and made with quality produce which was also presented beautifully. We couldn't manage the menu option (35 Euros for 3 courses) as the entree and plat were more than enough, but they were flexible with the arrangements and we were able to decline the dessert. Booking is essential and we saw many customers turned away as the restaurant was full. The food was outstanding, but our evening was made more special by the high quality of service. Looking forward to visiting again when we are back in Antibes.

This was a lucky find by googling best restaurants in antibes. It's just off the main square so tucked away but not too.far to find but well worth it. It's very small so make a reservation..we did not but they were so.sweet and squeezed us in. We were so thankful as the boeuf de bourguignon was the best and the chicken dish was light and delicious. Save room for dessert as the Citron tart was our best dessert in the French riviera. Enjoy this beautiful town and this quintessential bistro
