Just at the left side of the castle's entrance. Good ambiance and great food. Good choice of fine dishes and regional wines. Chinon wines are very good.

Had a great lunch here after the chateau visit. Looked up the ratings before walking in - and everything we tried on the menu was excellent and presented beautifully...

Menu changes often. We shared mousse of poultry, skirt steak, a perfect red to suit, followed with perfect desserts and well made espresso

Great little restaurant by the chateaux. It wasn't packed in mid-July but your mileage might vary. The food is lovely and fresh, and the owner is very nice!

Marvellous restaurant, in a beautiful setting next to the château gates. The food was light, delicious and unusual without being at all pretentious, very good baguette and a nice selection of good local wines at very reasonable prices. As it was a very warm evening, we sat in the courtyard and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere as the sun faded away and the illuminations at the château came on, enchanting!

Lovely little restaurant with plenty of tables for al fresco eating in a cul-de-sac next to the Chateau but extremely popular so book ahead unless you're happy to eat indoors (which is very chic too). Very limited menu (only three choices for each course when we visited) but very well cooked and tasty. Relatively inexpensive too. Recommended.

Exceptional! Sunday evening, romantic dinner for two after a long days cycle; we got in just after opening at 7pm (walk in, no booking) and sat where we wished! Fixed menu: choose one from a selection of 5 starters, two mains and about 5 deserts. Wine list was well balanced and predominantly local. Food was exceptional. Simple ingredients but incredibly tasty. Our favourites were the beetroot and goats cheese starter and the strawberry desert (which looked like an Eton mess but had an incredible rhubarb compote hidden in the bottom). Service was ther perfect balance between being friendly and attentive... the lady spoke perfect English which helped us out! Overall a perfect little restaurant! 5 stars easily won! Thank you for a memorable meal!

Outstanding meal here, probably the best of the trip so far. Starters, cold melon soup and rabbit terrine, both excellent and we wanted to lick the plates of cod steak and pork. I would come here again - and again. Suggest booking, not open every night.

We had a lovely meal here. Nice quiet setting in the evening just outside the chateau. Friendly and attentive service.

Our family spent almost two weeks touring the French countryside. Along the way we spent time in several villages. Azay-le-Rideau was one of our favorites. And while we were there we stumbled upon Côté Cour! What a terrific find. The restaurant is relatively small - perhaps a total of 10-12 tables. This allows the restaurant team to deliver an incredible experience examining regional foods and wines. The regional aspect allowed us to grab a taste into the area that we so enjoyed. Everything was fresh and the cooking was spot-on. I'm not sure how regular any item is, so I will not comment on our specific meal selections except to note the pear desert was incredible. So, if you are anywhere near this quaint town, then stop in for dinner at this fine restaurant. You won't be disappointed. And, rest-assured that it is not some hole-in-the-wall that you want to run from. The atmosphere and interior aesthetics are fresh and the service is welcoming. Highly recommend!

Truly delicious food and fabulous wines - make sure you are there at 7pm - otherwise you won’t get in!!
