Delicious food in a somewhat upscale setting. Excellent in every way.

Very nice seafood restaurant near the Calais ferry port. Seafood platter was really nice in reasonable price.

The free appetiser with crab meat and salmon cream was absolutely delicious. The scallop risotto was another expectational mouthwatering dish.

Located by the quay, a five minute drive from the ferry terminal, this small restaurant serves fabulous food. Services is slick and the owners very welcoming. Always a great end to a holiday on the continent.

16/3/24. Lovely warm welcome for 1pm pre booked table for a group of 4. Starter - freshness of crab followed by braised lamb for me. Baba rum for dessert. Food and service was excellent for all of us. Staff very patient and understanding with our poor French. Thank you.

A good place. Family run..Delicious food. Good atmosphere . In a location on the water front. You need to book in advance. All authentically French.

Friendly staff also to foreigners. Kitchen with an open design everything looks very clean. Had the sole and it was really delicous, perfekt restaurant for good seafood. Recommend to place a reservation online before you visit.

The whole experience was magical for my wife and myself . Service was first class and the food was beautifully cooked and presented .

Fantastic seafood and excellent service from friendly, attentive staff!

We took the menu with the "plateau fruits de mer royal". It was just excellent, couldn't be any fresher. Cozy seating, but the chairs could be more comfortable. I would recommend if you like seafood.

It's the second time we come to Oh Mouettes in the past 2 months and I am now certain that it is a must-visit restaurant in Calais if you come from the UK and want to start your French gastronomic odyssey on a high, or if like us, you just want to add an hedonistic highlight to your daytrip.
Of course, you should come for the seafood: Every dish is original, perfectly thought-through and the result always leaves me baffled on how interesting a classic seafood like prawns or scallops can become once it has been through the creative ideas of the chefs. From the subtle and refreshing "mise en bouche" to the succulent "Noix de St Jacques poêlées" and it's ever-moreish mushroom and pepper sauce.
But to me, the desserts are taking the biscuit (haha!). I keep ordering the Crumble of sablé Breton with that astonishing caramel cream with salted butter that would make any Brittany top-chef green with envy.
I have yet to try the others so I will need to come back, obviously...
Oh and the service is excellent.

Happy to find a good Restaurant in Calais. Went with my kid and father and both of them enjoy :) Very good food, good value for money, efficient, friendly and professinal service. I will go back for sure before taking the eurotunnel ( 10mins drive).
