Mountain River Resort

Hospitality offered by the managers is very warming. They really adapt and provide services tailored to your needs. They bring the breakfast to the room, they pick you up at the train station if needed, and even bring you to the partner restaurant.
The best part is that the property is pet friendly, it was great for my puppy to socialize with other dogs and for us with the other dog owners!
The landscape is amazingly beautiful, and the location surprisingly peaceful with the sound of the river and nature.
Perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature while having a great time with the family, including the dog members!

Wonderful experience at Mountain River; I organized a yoga weekend there and I am very happy with the experience. The apartment are spacious and clean with wonderful views to the mountains and the river. Thierry was very nice proposing us different hiking trails around the region and preparing delicious breakfast for us.

I really recommend the place and I am coming back sooon.

The perfect resort on the river. This resorts consists of a hotel, thermal bath (currently closed), multiple apartments buildings, a nice restaurant, with a short drive to the Les Crosets ski area, and access to multiple hiking trails. The service is wonderful and Thierry (one of the property managers) never stopped being kind. I never got bored of sleeping on the sound of the river and waking up to the perfect balcony view. My summer and winter destination.

We had a great stay at Mountain River! The location is excellent in the bottom of a beautiful valley, at 5 minutes' walk from the train station of Fayot les Bains, and a bus ride from Champery, where there are loads of activities to do, ranging from exploring higher up the mountains, Galerie Defago, swimming, cycling etc. Room was spacious and comfortable with an amazing view, no problems at all!

This place is amaazzingggg!!!! We did a weekend yoga retreat here and our room was so spacious! (1 double bedroom with separate living room)... Fantastic view of mountains and greenery with great balcony, and of course - there is a river nearby so there's always the soothing River-running sound in the background. What makes this even better is that the owner Thierry is so welcoming and helpful (and he speaks English), who made everyone of us feel like home. Thank you Thierry!! 🙏
Although the spa nearby is now closed, there were many hiking options in the area that worked well for us. I sincerely recommend this place and will definitely come back for another enjoyable break!

Perfect destination to relax, enjoy the nature, the river, hiking, skiing, along with the very clean and comfortable apartment. Brilliant service with Raclette or Bbq delivery to the apartments or fine restaurant choices. Great value for money, thanks Thierry and all the staff!!

It was a great place in the Region Dents du Midi. The space was huge, everything was there. We had some WiFi issues but that didn’t harm our stay as the mountains are so beautiful

Love the place 100% recommended. I stayed here for 2 days but I wish I can stay here longer. All things were perfect.

Massive but basic room, excellent value off peak with friendly service.

Wir waren mit einpaar Freunden und Kindern zwischen den Feiertagen und Silvester in 3 Apartments auf einer Etag. Die Räumlichkeiten sind top und dieser Ausblick. Vom Standort kann man schnell zu den gewünschten Ausflügsorten gelangen. Wir haben die Ruhe genossen. Schade, dass der Spa Bereich nicht zur Verfügung stand. Wenn man den Aufenthalt mit Wellness ergänzen könnte, sind wir uns sicher, dass mehr Kundschaft da wäre.
Wir wünschen den Besitzern nur das Beste und viel Erfolg weiterhin. Vielen lieben Dank für alles.

Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit in diesem Haus !
Wer die Natur und die Berglandschaft liebt, ist hier definitiv gut aufgehoben. Die Maisonette Wohnung war sehr großzügige und sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Vermieter ist sensationell. Wir wollten Frühstück, wir bekamen Frühstück. Wir wollten ein Babybett, 10 Minuten später bekamen wir ein Babybett. Wir wollten Rad fahren, am nächsten Tag um 9 Uhr standen 2 hochwertige E-Bikes vor der Tür usw.....

Beau studio avec grand balcon et vue sur les montagnes. Grande chambre à coucher bien grande avec armoires.
Emplacement en dehors du village. Achats obligatoirement en voiture.

La qualité de l'accueil , excellent séjour, l’appartement est magnifique, spacieux, calme, grand, propre, literie est confortable et 2 salles de bain. La terrasse donne sur une vue superbe. Les promenades dès la sortie du bâtiment. Le petit déjeuner amené sur demande devant la porte et les petites attentions: la machine à café et café capsule, nécessaire au petit-déjeuner. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. Merci encore pour les disponibilités de gérant et refaire dès que possible!

Appartamenti molto ampi e belli! Puliti. Posizione bellissima a fianco del bosco e del torrente. Sembra di toccare le cime delle montagne con un dito. Veduta dalla portafinestra del soggiorno splendida. Colazione con brioches e pane fresco consegnato ogni mattina in camera!

Excellent séjour. Accueil chaleureux et bienveillant de la part de Thierry, qui est très amical et arrangeant. La localisation est super, à 10min en voiture de Monthey, la vue est magnifique, l’appartement est spacieux, fonctionnel et propre. C’était parfait, nous reviendrons !

Très bel endroit avec une très belle vue! L’appartement est vraiment confortable et on est très bien accueilli! La possibilité de se faire livrer à manger à l’appartement est un plus (une petite raclette sur le balcon au soleil avec le bruit de la rivière). Nous y reviendrons!

Magnifique séjour au Moutain River. Superbe appartement très agréable, spacieux et fonctionnel avec une belle terrasse. Facilité de parking. Restaurant de la Bergerie excellent.
Toute l’équipe est super avec une mention spéciale pour Justine et monsieur Manson.

Accueil très chaleureux par des personnes sympathiques et très disponibles.
Les appartements sont très agréables et au calme. Le parking est devant l’immeuble.
Nous avons pris des pizzas (livrées à l’appartement) qui étaient délicieuses.

Appartements très bien aménagés, spacieux et lumineux. Acceuil chaleureux, vue splendide et tout plein de jolies balades autour. Le gérant est toujours disponible pour donner des infos et pour s'assurer que tout se passe au mieux. Le restaurant d'à côté est super aussi!
