Champagne Dominique Foureur

Friendliness and knowledge were the hallmarks of our visit. Tasting almost the full range of champagnes, in generous measures, a great night sleep, and an encounter with Gaelle’s cat(😡) all added to a wonderful overnight stay (using the France Passion network).

We bought this bottle of beauty in summer 2019. It has been waiting until the day I graduate, which is today, finally!
We bought this bottle on our trip around France. We stayed here in our camper it was wonderful and the dog was beautiful. A must if you are passing by. Thanks guys, sorry for the late review, blame covid!!!

Found this in our French Passion guide. We stayed the night in our motorhome and had a tour in the morning the family have been making champagne for five centuries it was very interesting we finished with a tasting. They made us very welcome we had use of a toilet and shower. Excellent.

Step back in time to the way great champagne used to be made. Super nice family, ancient cellars, excellent champagne, great prices, AND Ambonnay Rouge (Couteaux Champenois) only 12€ per bottle!

Amazing champagne house: the tasting was entertaining and educational, and the owners are charming, passionate and incredibly welcoming. The champagnes are incredible. Great colour on the rose, the prestige has complexity mixed with freshness and there are many more that surprised and delighted us. We were also lucky enough to see their four hundred year old cellar where they do the riddling (by hand!), and the bottling process. There's more go praise them for, but all I can say is that a visit is always warranted.

Zoals al vele jaren (20jr) nemen wij champagne van Dominique Foureur. Prijs/ kwaliteit is subliem. De 100% Pinot Noir is een toppertje en de nieuwe No 8 is het einde. Dit is een Grand Cru die u in uw kelder moet hebben. Sinds 'n 2-tal jaren staat de 8e generatie in voor het huis Foureur. Gaëlle is een formidabele opvolgster van Dominique en Elizabeth.

Avons passé un excellent moment. Lors de la visite de leur cave, nous avons pu découvrir les techniques à l ancienne. Dominique et son mari ont vraiment pris le temps pour nous expliquer tous les secrets de la fabrication. Nous avons fini la visite par une dégustation chez eux et n avons pas été déçu par leurs excellentes cuvées.
Visite beaucoup plus généreuse et enrichissante que les grandes maisons.
Je recommande !

Hele hartelijke mensen. Hoewel ik geen probleem heb met gebarentaal spreken ze hier gewoon Engels, toch ook wel fijn. Champagnes zijn hier betaalbaar (vanaf 16 euro) en bijzonder smakelijk. Als je in de buurt bent moet je hier zeker heengaan.
