Hyper U et Drive

I hate supermarket shopping but this store has such treats for me that I am positively gleeful at the thought of going in. Wonderful cheese selection and amazing bread by the tranche.

Large store which sells groceries, electrical goods, gardening equipment and much more.

Great store with lots of variety on offer. We are always pleased to find so many vegan products here. Impressive.

Had to visit the pharmacy here and the lady who helped us was excellent. Going out of her way to help and explain the instructions on the medicine in English to us.

I'm actually reviewing the U Location, but as it's not on Google maps, I'm unable to find a listing.

Anyway we needed a sofa collecting from Roche Sur Yon, and we hired a van. Even with the additional insurance, it cost just 50 Euro.

We're English, and the lady who assisted us was kind, and helped us, despite some language difficulties.

The van was very clean, and was perfect for the job.

So if you're wanting to hire a van, a car, indeed even a popcorn machine, this is the place for you :o)

Great supermarket. Wide choice of items stocked and plenty of parking with some covered parking to help reduce the heat in the car on extremely hot days. We visited as two families with four teenagers between us and stopped for dinner at the onsite Flunch restaurant. We found the restaurant food delicious and at a reasonable price. The staff were friendly and although we didn't encounter any English speaking staff on either of our visits, they were patient with our poor attempts at French and we always managed to find the help we were looking for. Just make sure you have your 1€ coin for the trolley.

Best local but large supermarket. I even purchased my new caravan battery here. !! Special wine offers, at end of season. Plenty of car parking spaces and petrol station closely. Colm

Amazing panoply of super fresh french produce

The Hyper U format has everything in one roof so one needs to allocate a few hours to browse through the entire shop. Often there is Flunch attached so freshly cooked food is available if one needs it or if and when a pause for refreshment is required.

Excellent supermarket and was able to park motorhome to carry out shopping, albeit across two bays. This HyperU is also on an estate next to a DIY store with restaurants and a McDonald's.

My favourite . Helpful friendly staff. Great prices and huge choice of items. Good special offers.
