The food was very good here. Service was nice. The creme brulee tasted effortlessly perfect. The meals were generously portioned and we ordered too much. Prices are fair. All in all I would go back next time I am in the area.

One of the nicest restaurants I've ever been to, genuinely. Very very good value for money, food is delicious and made à la maison. Most of the tables either overlook or are on the main square of Amboise so you get a great view of the chateau - but luckily not very busy even on a sunny lunchtime. Highlight is by far the IMPECCABLE service and lovely waiters who laid on a treat for my birthday, free ice cream and candles included. If you're in the area then absolutely come here.

Touristy spot for a good galette and bottle of wine. Good service and people watching before the castle etc,. Nothing glamorous though so be patient.

We went here for dinner with our 3 teenage kids and had a great meal! Bilingual menus and friendly staff Make sure to try one of their gallete dishes. Also make sure you have 2 hours available for dinner.

A very subtle, delicious, French onion soup, salmon and prawn salad, créme caramel. All top notch, washed down with a fragrant house rosé. Fun service and exceptionally reasonably priced. Well worth a visit.

Really pleasant place to relax and people watch on this beautiful street. Gets quite busy. Had a couple of beers midday and went for evening meal next day.

I have been to this restaurant a few times over the years I have been coming to Amboise. I have not yet jad a bad experience. My husband and I enjoy the menu very much. Very pleasent staff and good prices.
