A MUST

Beautiful spotless swimming area. We found a nice shaded area on a grassy bank next to the lifeguard station, toilette and showers. Designated swimming areas for babies, young children and adults. Swim shoes recommend as it’s pretty rocky walking into the water and then turns to a weird clay/mud base. Water was lovely and the scenery is spectacular.

Really peaceful place, I went there last week and there wasn’t a lot of people so it was cool and chill. There’s a great view. However I don’t know how it is during the summer period so be careful it might be packed of people at times and there is also the background sound of the road which is right next to it.

When we Visit here, this is a corona time so only few people and us of course as a tourist was there . Its so calm feeling that it was not over crowded. We enjoyed the the View a lot. The water is really clear, it seems like its a sea.

Beautiful place for swimming with family. It is well protected area with water depth limits. So it is really worry free area for swimming with kids!

Nice place to layout on sand, grass, sun or shade and take a dip in the water. Water is shallow and clear for first 30 feet, after which the ground is murky. Nearby bathroom, haven't visited. Ocassional old ladies are getting their chest tanned.

I absolutely loved visiting this lakeside beach. Good for families and there is a dedicated swimming area.
It is very close to the town centre so lots of shopping available. A good choice if bars (pub like) where one can have a pint on the go.
The lake is surrounded by mountains on one side and good for pictures with nice views.
There is a boat service giving a trip around the lake.
Definitely a great place to visit when holidaying in this side of France!

Nice beach with a good view, lots of free space to swim, toilets nearby, you can also just sit down and dip your legs into the water or enjoy the little waves from the lake. The rocks could be less sharp though, it hurts when you walk on big sharp rocks, sand would be a bit more suitable.

Spacious beach where the water is clear and cool! There tend to be a lot of visitors in the weekends, with a lot of picnic and walking areas present around. Great for families and people who come here with their bike. 🚲

Another beach in Annecy lake that is worth visiting! What a beautiful place.

Arrived at midday and squeezed into the last parking spot available. Found a shady spot where all the space is close to the water.

It got busier in the next hour but never really crowded. If you're a bit soft like me then I recommend reef shoes or try and get to the deep water quickly.

We brought our own fruit and got into the 3€ Nutella panninis. Had a great time.

Green little lakeside area ideal for spending a bit of time by the water. Smoking area separated (good idea). Cute adjacent park with friendly ducks and swans. Only downside, the road is audible.

Great for families and to just chill. Very convenient location
