Great value for money for a restaurant in the main square. Only 8€ for a huge baguette filled with steak, and a more than adequate portion of deliciously crispy chips.
Staff extremely friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic cafe with a deceptively diverse menu. It looks basic but there are lot of options. Great spot for a light lunch or snack. Staff are amazing, fast, friendly very engaging. We love spending time here at Picnic cafe.

Bonjour! I was in vacation in Carcassonne and I wanted to eat at 3pm in the center. Only this restaurant was able to make food and I was pleased to happen to be in that place. I took a delicious bowl of the day and a crepe nutella for dessert. It was the best crepe I ever had in my life. The bowl was perfect, very well supplied and the vinaigrette was amazing. If you are interested, they have vegan and gluten free options. Moreover, the staff is kind, very professionnal and friendly. Later I tasted other restaurants in the center but I didnt find them as good as this one. I highly recommend that place and I will come back. Bon appetit!

Great cafe ijn the centre of Carcassonne. Varied menu with something to pleaase everyone. Prices very reasoable. Gets busy around dinner time and most of the summer.

Sat outside for a light lunch - paninis, croque monsieur, spag bol and frites. All very good. Friendly and quick service and all reasonably priced.

I only stopped for a cold beer, but I was served quickly and politely. That's very rare in the south of France these days, so five stars!
