Packed with a wide variety of art supplies for everyone, from kids to hobbyists to professionals. Prices seem very fair with great sales. Nice staff, and they were good at keeping the line moving at the registers while still being courteous to each customer.

I bought some bics and a gift card for someone's birthday, they regularly go there to buy organic thread so it was nice to be able to buy them a gift card, the gift cards can be used in all stores which is Lao dope.

Excellent Art supplies place. So much variety. Loved all the Japanese Manga art supplies.

Love this store which has a great selection of arts and crafts supplies- one of the few in Paris.

Everything you could need. We just went for a pencil sharpener but I couldn't get my kid out of the store

Stumbled on this great shop while I was walking around Paris. It has the largest collection of pens, paints and crafts material I have come across in a long time. I spent almost an hour checking out the stock before buying some lovely pens. It is a very traditional shop, they just don't make them like this anymore.

Called in here when I was in Paris recently. The shop has a sunny and attractively laid out interior, and we were spoken to civilly.

A shame, though, that Rougier & Plé no longer sell traditional craft bookbinding tools. This is what I came looking for. I have several old ones of theirs at home, marked with their name, including two exquisite iron "polissoirs" for polishing (i.e. crushing the grain of) leather bindings prior to and after gold tooling. I also have a very old copy of their catalogue of bookbinding tools.

It's not Rougier & Plé's fault, of course, that they no longer sell craft bookbinding supplies; there simply aren't enough people doing the craft at a serious level to justify maintaining stock of this kind, I'd imagine.

Bravo all the same to Rougier et Plé, both past and present, and bravo to those Parisian binders of old who were the best in the world at their craft: especially Georges Cretté, Cuzin, Marius-Michel, Émile Mercier, Léon Maillard, Émile Maylander. The world will never see their like again.

coming from a little town, it was beautiful to see a three-tiered approach to art supplies. rougier & ple have honed their craft to a T. i would entrust my firstborn to the care of rougier, and also ple.

Wow what an art supplier.

Has almost everything you need, convenient and great for art students. They have lightboxes, styrofoam shapes, all sorts of paints, sketchbooks, markers and so much more. The website is a great indication of what they have in store :)

I like a lot these shops, there are always nice people who work there. It is not only for artists, anybody can find curious thing for creating and craft.

They had such lovely products for sale. I bought two new sketchbooks a mushroom pencil sharpener and they weren't expensive at all and the quality is great!!

Really cool place to find everything art realted. You can easily get lost, but the staff is very kind to guide you to the right section!!

Great place for materials for art University (or arts and crafts). Plus you get discounts if you're an art, design or fashion student.
