In the Spring and Summer months I come to this park with local friends. Super central, good vibes and open spaces. Also dog-friendly because it's a public park! (Most parks in Paris are private so no dogs allowed)

Large public place to walk around in and to hang out at. We visited in winter so the foliage wasn’t that great, but the good thing was that there was a Christmas Market. We spent some time sitting on a chair just chilling.

Absolutely stunning garden with beautiful statues everywhere and small ponds. Plenty of places to sit, or you can stroll the gardens, taking in all the sites. There are plenty of cafes and places to grab a drink or a bite to eat. If you’re looking for a lovely place to relax or get in some exercise, while enjoying beautiful scenery, you must visit!

🎄Celebrating Christmas at a Parisian market: cozy vibes, heartwarming food, but the crowds were next-level! 🍲🎁

Grateful for the festive spirit despite the chaos

The food was delicious even though prices were high – but hey, it’s Europe, where everything comes with a bit of luxury. 🍽💸

….Wow what an impressive large beautiful park this is! It has two big restaurants, a working Carousel 🎠 and it seems that because they are right next to the Louvre they have plots with Contemporary Art pieces on display..the Museum of Oranges 🍊 is also near b but we didn’t go there! We admired the trees turning yellow and orange because of the onset of Autumn 🍂…a must visit when in Paris….

Lovely place to visit, and within walking distance of the Lourve Museum. I visited the gardens in Spring 2023, as everything was blooming. There are lots of people out enjoying the weather; the beautiful views of Parisian architecture, statues, and fresh flowers. Definitely add this to your list when visiting Paris.

The Tuileries Garden is a beautiful public park located in the heart of Paris, France. It is situated between the Louvre Museum and the Place de la Concorde, and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the city.
The garden was first created in the 16th century by Queen Catherine de' Medici, and has been redesigned and expanded several times over the centuries. Today, it covers an area of over 25 hectares and is home to a variety of gardens, fountains, sculptures, and other attractions.
One of the most popular things to do in the Tuileries Garden is to simply stroll around and enjoy the scenery. The gardens are home to a wide variety of plants and flowers, and there are plenty of benches where you can sit and relax. There are also several cafes and restaurants located within the gardens, so you can grab a bite to eat or a drink while you're there.
Another popular attraction in the Tuileries Garden is the Louvre Museum. The Louvre is one of the largest and most famous museums in the world, and it houses a vast collection of art and artifacts from around the globe. The museum is located right next to the Tuileries Garden, so it's easy to visit both attractions in the same day.
If you're looking for something a little more active to do, there are also several playgrounds and sports facilities located in the Tuileries Garden. There's also a carousel that's popular with children of all ages.
No matter what you're looking for in a park, you're sure to find it in the Tuileries Garden. It's a beautiful and vibrant place to spend a few hours, and it's one of the must-see attractions for any visitor to Paris.

That all gardens could be so welcoming.
There are benches, tables and best of all, moveable chairs for all to use.
You can move them where you want on the grounds. Just sitting to watch people and listen to the birds is do very soothing, I can't imagine anyone who would not enjoy it.
The gardens are quite extensive. Some areas are just pathways and shade trees. Other have beautiful statuary and fountains. Still other areas are beautifully manicured and maintained
There are several ways in and across the river is the d'Orcy, a most beautiful building.
We sat here several times during our 4 days in Paris and loved it every time.

Like to see more places treat their citizens this way!

In a very nice garden to walk quietly and enjoy the weather. In December they have the Christmas village so one can buy food and drinks while visiting the garden.

Go for the Christmas bizarre / event.

Many shops, food, rides for kids.

Also walk around the park, see the statues, the pond, and the buildings.

Many great views for photos.

The Christmas Market/Village at Le Tuilieries is amazing! It's very big, and full of nice kiosks where you can eat and drink all kinds of delicacies. And for those with little kids, there are many amusement park attractions, in addition to the big panoramic wheel. I just do not recommend it if you don't like much crowd, because it's really packed!

During my recent trip to Paris, I had the pleasure of visiting the picturesque Tuileries Garden, and it surpassed all my expectations. For anyone planning a visit to Paris, this garden is an absolute must-see.

The Tuileries Garden is conveniently located in the heart of the city, making it easily accessible for both locals and tourists. One of the things I loved about this garden is its serene atmosphere, providing a welcome escapade from the bustling streets of Paris.

The garden's well-maintained pathways lead you through perfectly manicured lawns, elegant flowerbeds, and charming fountains. Whether you are seeking a peaceful spot to read a book or simply wish to take a leisurely stroll, the Tuileries Garden offers plenty of open spaces and secluded nooks where you can relax and unwind.

Additionally, the garden offers fantastic views of iconic Parisian landmarks such as the Louvre Museum and the Eiffel Tower. It's the perfect spot for a romantic picnic or for capturing unforgettable photographs.

For history enthusiasts, the Tuileries Garden is also rich with cultural significance. It was designed in the 16th century and played a prominent role in the history of the French monarchy. I found it fascinating to wander through this living testament to French history.

One thing I would recommend is to allocate ample time for your visit. The Tuileries Garden is expansive, and there is so much to explore and appreciate. I suggest dedicating a few hours to fully experience its beauty and tranquility.

Overall, my visit to the Tuileries Garden was a highlight of my trip to Paris. It offers a welcome respite from the city's hustle and bustle, allowing you to immerse yourself in nature and history. If you're visiting Paris, I cannot recommend the Tuileries Garden enough.
