The best little cafe we have been to, amazing service, amazing food and brilliant coffee/tea. Paul made us feel very welcome and gave us a lot of guidance on the area.

Thank you so much, we would recommend anyone to visit!

Although not local to us, this was the first place that we wanted to eat after Confinement, so we booked a table to ensue that our wish would come true and we were not disappointed, but in truth, we knew that we wouldn't be. We had discovered this place prior to the first Confinement. The English Breakfast was as it always is, Excellent. We also tried a portion of Lynn's home-made Quiche, and guess what? That was excellent too. The Service that Paul gives is attentive but not intrusive, just how I like it. Professional. Well done to you both and thanks for just being here.

I went at the beginning of April with my boyfriend and we had a fantastic time! The café owners were very friendly and service was quick - not to mention the delicious food.
Also, the homemade speculoos cheesecake was incredible. Would recommend.
Also also, it was one of the only places open in a Monday which was very convenient.

Warm welcome and fabulous English breakfast. We stopped here today via our bike ride to the Charente Lakes - great to see it open again. Always a warm welcome and good place to stop for breakfast, lunch or tea and cake. My husband tried the black pudding sausages and says they were great. All local produce and very tasty. We will be back!

We stopped in by chance, and Paul was so kind and accommodating! The mushroom lasagna was so delicious, we had to come back the next day to try the cheddar and caramelized onion quiche. Perfect afternoons on the terrace both times. Charming and satisfying. You feel immediately at home among friends here. (Oh! And the lemon speculos cheesecake! 🤯)

Lovley tearoom. If you can pre book a table as they are busy. The big English breakfast is perfect with smoked British bacon, Lincolnshire sausages and even some lovley black pudding. Would recommend to every one. The British staff are amazing and will accommodate any of your requests if possible

Always friendly good service.
Bacon & Egg sandwiches are excellent!
Craft beer available.
The tearoom also has a stock of British foods (Heinz baked beans, Marmite, Jammy Dodgers etc)
The tearoom is not massive and can get completely full, so best to phone ahead and reserve a table.

A lovely surprise, on a trip with my mother we decided to stop at the first opened place on a Monday. We were warmly welcomed and had an excellent english breakfast followed by super tasty cakes (you can't go without trying them). A good moment, and all for a very correct price.

Friendly services, as a vegan I find it hard to eat out in France but these guys always try and make me something. Todays mixed salad baguette and vegan choc cake where tasty fresh and a welcome change to "No we dont have anything for you". Thankyou guys will see you again and the coffee was delish!

If you fancy some British tea or food, Paul & Lynn can satisfy your craving. We heartily recommend their breakfast baguettes which are fast becoming a regular Sunday brunch treat for us. Edit: Just had THE best scrambled egg on toast - and other half just had a brilliant bacon sarnie.

I can certainly vouch for the crumpets as well. The Tea rooms are a delight to visit and have been sorely missed due to lockdown.
The food is always delicious and lovingly prepared.

Today we had beautiful spicy carrot soup (vegan) a filled Baguette with brie and cranberry, and spoiled ourselves with homemade orange & almond cake, plus a lovely coffee and a local lager, all cooked and presented by the proprietors, Paul and Linda, all in all a delightful lunch .
