This place hit the spot with simple yet tasty classic French options including croque monsiuers, omelettes, and salad. The proprietors weren’t overly friendly but was just as well since they were attentive and available exactly when you needed them. The kitchen looked clean and food was fresh.

Came here for lunch with my two young children. The waiter was very nice and we were about to order two hot dogs for the kids when he recommended we only take one as they are big. That was very nice of him as indeed the hot dogs were big and they had cut them in half and put them in two separate plates for the children. I had a salad which was delicious and generous.

I stayed here for a night in the green room (r. No. 1) and it was a delightful experience.

The owner is really nice and active. The room was impeccably clean. The bathroom and toilet were shared but I don't mind it for the price we paid. The room has a queen sized bed with a smaller bunk bed on top, some basic furniture (table, chair, armchair and coat rack). There is also a sink, mirror and bidet. They provided us with clean towels, cups for the sink and shower gel.

Breakfast was 6.50 the next morning that included bread, croissant, butter, jam and a choice of hot beverage.

Perfect for a budget traveler. I will stay here when and if I go to Amboise again!

Favorisez un arrêt dans cet établissement si vous passez à Amboise le long du château. Bien plus qu’un café, un lieu ou manger et boire avec une ambiance qui me manque souvent, une ambiance de village où les gérants appellent les clients par leur prenom et se tutoient. Beaucoup de choix, attendez pour déguster des plats faits avec amour et surtout à la commande. Merci de nous avoir servis tardivement. Un mot : authenticité.

Je ne noterai pas la partie Hôtel, ayant simplement manger sur place :
Le gérant est un homme plutôt accueillant, qui nous a fourni, à moi et à mon conjoint, des plats "simples" mais très qualitatifs, que ce soit en goût ou concernant la quantité.
Je recommande donc vivement

Café super sympa, des patrons cool on y boit du Cot !!! Excellent et pour d'autres c est le petit lait Excellent aussi
on y mange très bien et ce n est pas cher.
Si vous êtes de passage à Amboise n'hésitez pas le café se trouve en face la sortie du chateau.

Une petite brasserie très sympa, on est venu manger un midi, les plats sont généreux et bons. On a appris tout les potins de la ville sachant qu'on est en basse période il n'y avait que des habitués et nous a manger, c'était amusant.

Content de trouver ce bar accueillant un dimanche midi en janvier pour boire un verre et finalement manger. Joyeux mélange d'habitués, de familles, de touristes.

Un bar esprit village sans chichi comme on en vois plus souvent.
Un repas du midi avec des plats de brasserie simple et efficasse.
Moins de 30 euros pour 2 plats biens servis, 2 verres de vins et un café ça ne cours plus trop les rues en 2023.

Belle adresse pour déjeuner ou autre, belle carte, vous êtes bien reçus et c'est très abordable. Je recommande!

Salimos de visitar el castillo y nos lo encontramos de frente. Aunque nos sentamos en la terraza casualmente, fue todo un acierto. Trato y servicio estupendo, muy atentos. Los platos sencillos pero buenísimos. La ubicación al lado del castillo hace que sea un ambiente muy agradable.
