Au Comptoir de L'Adour

Excellent lunch stop en route to Catalonia, a return visit as we took our evening meal there on our last trip two years ago. We'd remembered it fondly and it didn't disappoint. Great quality food, served promptly by friendly staff. Eating outdoors in the sunshine in March a special bonus!

This was a fantastic find. We just stopped opposite to look for a café, and this place looked busy; with good reason! It was full of locals, enjoying the buzzing lunchtime atmosphere. We ordered the Menu du Jour, and were delighted with a lovely homemade leek and potato soup, followed by a lovely pork chop with a dijonaise sauce, pomme frites and a small salad with vinaigrette. It was absolutely delicious, and fantastic value.

Birthday party for my little boy, table of 10, very friendly service, great food, but a few too many times we ordered drinks that we ended up having to go inside asking for again. Little cake with a candle and a song from the waitresses, lovely attention.

Really nice to find a bar in France that feels like a pub. Very welcoming staff in a good location and we were allowed to take our dogs inside as the weather was bad. We just had a starter to share and a few drinks. They have a good selection of beers on tap and the food going out to the other tables looked really tasty. Would definitely visit again.

Nice sport nostalgia teamed pub/restaurant. Food and service very good

Great ambience, sports bar themed always very busy at lunchtime so make reservations by phone or turn up early to get a seat. Top class pub grub, steaks are excellent, fish dishes fab and of course burgers of all flavours. Great service and nice small village to have a wander around after lunch.

We stopped for lunch 7/3/19 the place was very busy. We had a really good meal, the staff were friendly and attentive. The brassiere is only a few minutes walk from the camper stop in town. We will be returning. Our dog was welcome in the restaurant as well
