Bar de la Marine

Visited because we love Love Actually. The staff are brilliant. Very personable, friendly and attentive. Had the burger. Very, very tasty. Cooked as requested, juicy, meaty no fat or gristle. Chocolate mouse was a rich, firm mousse. Shame more people not in. Don't pass by, pop in. We will certainly be back. We will tell you when and thank you for the offer of meeting Colin, that would be great.

Wonderful café bar on the harbor waterfront! One of the few places serving breakfast in the town center. The food was delicious and fresh. Service was quick, helpful, and friendly. Would have had breakfast here everyday if I’d have discovered it sooner!

We had read alot of the mixed reviews first but as usual prefer to make up our own minds. We visited the bar while on a short break, the staff were extremely friendly, food tasty and not expensive, cocktails were yummy. It was on hubby's to do list as it is the restaurant in the proposal scene in Love Actually. Had a lovely chat with the lad serving, obviously as we are in France, everything is in French, so good to see that they don't translate everything into every language known to man, stops us being lazy.

There are many reasons to visit this bar. Personally, I'm a fan of the movie Love Actually, and one of my favorite scenes was filmed in this bar. Enjoy!

Great food and happy staff .Also super view to the port .

We were wandering around down by the port and decided to stop in for a drink. We had a glass of the Beaujolais nouveau and a nice chat with the staff. Very helpful and friendly. Large outdoor space. Good location for people watching. Highly recommend!

We always go to this café for breakfast. Beautiful café crème and croissants . Lovely place. So much more atmospheric than a hotel dining room.

Visited this restaurant because it featured in the British film 'Love Actually' as one of the main locations. A staff said the 2nd floor was the set of the movie.
The interior was nice and warm atmosphere. The location of the bar is one of the major hot spots at the Marseille old port.
