Château de la Buzine

It was very interesting to explore the Château itself and its current exhibition on Steven Spielberg. The parc around it seems to be suffering a bit with the 2023 drought, and it looks like it's in need of some help. There's good potential to be exploited, but they might not have the budget to do so.

This Castle was used by Marcel Pagnol, to write the novel "Le Château de ma mère". Awesome to be reminded of that book.

Great day out, we took the kids to see Toy story there, really nice not too loud, not too many people, nice staff. Nice walk around the grounds after the film. The Cafe is good as well, not expensive.

What a beautiful place to see a concert or expo. It’s full of history from the writer Pagnol’s attempt a create a French Hollywood, broken up by WWII ! Check it out if you have time and a car when in marseille!

Uno dei luoghi simbolo della storia di Marcel Pagnol... meraviglioso museo del cinema ..mostre temporanee su attori e registi... l ultimo piano dedicato a Pagnol , alla sua via e alle sue opere... come ogni anno ci ritorno

Et le musée sur le cinéma, l'Expo sur Spielberg, tout est très sympa.

Le Château est très beau 😃 ainsi que le parc et le cinéma. Vous serez très bien accueilli par le personnel. 😃🌲🏰👍

Nous y avons été pour Martin Solveig et Kung un collègue nous avait eu 2 places , cela faisait longtemps que je n'avais pas écouté, l' ambiance y était , l'endroit est top, à refaire.

Visite en souvenir de Marcel Pagnol... bâtisse au calme et en très bon état, musée sur le cinéma avec beaucoup de souvenirs avec en plus un belle salle pour voir un film et un petit restaurant à l'entrée de la propriété vraiment super ex: raviolis à la daube sauce aux Truffes...
Vraiment un agréable endroit pour s'échapper de la ville et profiter du calme aux abords des collines. Belle journée en perspective.

Un superbe lieu, pour y découvrir une partie importante de la vie de Marcel Pagnol, on peut y faire de belle balades dans le parc bien entretenu. Le château contiens une partie musée , une ludothèque, un cinéma et à l'extérieur dans l'enceinte il y a un restaurant, ou il faut mieux réserver à l'avance. Magnifique château, très joli parc autour. Entre les concerts, les expositions ou le cinéma, il y a toujours quelque chose qui s'y passe. Avoir de nuit aussi, l'éclairage est splendide
