Auchan Hypermarché Calais

Wow just wow. The size of this place is unreal the selection of produce is amazing it like nothing you will see in England. If you are travelling to France it's a definite must see just to appreciate the sheer magnitude of it all. Amazing place.

I've gotta be honest this place highlights the difference in food produce between the UK & France & I'm afraid the French come out well on top..there must be at least 300 different types of cheese & the drinks/wines selection has to be seen to be believed...me I just grabbed myself a sourdough baguette bit of cheese & salad then voilà...fantastic

First visit to this location. Can't believe we have not been here before. Vast choice of most things you look for in a hyper market. Amazing choice of wines.

The hugest hypermarket in the region, with exceptionally great variety of food choices especially cheese, wine and oyster. A normal shopping may require at least an hour!

We like shopping here - and make frequent day trips.

Similar to the other Auchan stores in the area, there's a large variety of goods. The fruit, vegetables and meat are excellent and the fresh prawns are to die for!
Prices are very reasonable and we had a great date out.

Huge supermarket (by UK standards) with a excellent range of cheeses and wines. Just a few mins drive from Le Shuttle.

Fascinating place - so many different things to look at so many choices - loved the Garden Centre

Nice change from Cite Europe. Well worth a look and prices are very competitive....
France and Calais are still way worth a day trip shopping from the UK

This has got to be the biggest Supermarket I have ever been in. Big selection on wines and everything else. If you think Tesco Extra is big this place is 3 times the size. It's got everything. You could spend ages in there. A good place to stop before going back to England. As previously mentioned. There's some Dodgy people Walking around . Looking into cars.

more! at the self check out a very helpful Assistant was very helpful

Great French supermarket, with almost everything you could want under one roof. Used to be a staple place of ours from years gone by when we used to do a 'booze cruise' just before Christmas. Of course great selection of beers, wines and spirits.

A once a year treat! Everything you could want and plenty that you didn't know you needed. Not that much cheaper for beer and wine compared to UK supermarkets but a much bigger selection.

A superb shopping experience. Yes it's a huge supermarket but the range of food stuff is fantastic. The quality of fruit and veg is so much better than the UK supermarkets

It was my first visit and there are definitely some bargains to be had, make sure you leave yourself plenty of time, it's not the same when you're clock watching.

Great shop, good variety of products, staff very helpful. Visit cut short, because shop was evacuated, staff remained calm and very efficient ensuring everyone was safely out

Everything everywhere. This shop fully loaded with everything. TV, clothes, fish, meat, bakery, gluten free, vegetable .
