It was a pleasure to join this place an d enjoy a perfect dinner. The concept with a separate lounge area and the dinner tables is nice. You can relax. Georges Blanc himself welcomed us. The winelist is like a Bible and a bit of a challenge with a great selection. But the sommeliers helped. The dishes are a great experience. From a decorative point of view, the small menu looked a bit more attractive but that's a matter of taste and recognition. Thanks for the great night.

Amazing experience here! We booked the anniversary package and were pampered for the entire weekend. The menu was amazing and worth the 3 macaroons they earned it for more than 40 years. My husband said that he had the best wine pairing in his life here as every glasses were grand cru (Prestige). The hotel room was traditionally charming and the services were above French average. Overall, I’m delighted with my stay and to met the famous chef in person.

Amazing flavours…the sauces were impeccable, as expected of this establishment. Every course was memorable. My partner went wow when he tasted the famed Bresse chicken. The cheese cart was amazing too. Be prepared to have a feast…wear stretchy pants!

The only restaurant in the world that made us cry 😭over a dish - just perfect and unique and unimaginable. ❤This is an institution! Done a few Micheline 3 star restaurants - George blanc is just a different level above everyone. It’s perfect from service to venue to food. Every second there is a blessing. Thank you Chef Blanc for opening our eyes. We did the tasting menu. The breton lobster is unbelievable. and carrot - how can carrot has this much level of sophisticated flavors! It’s been a year and I am still dreaming about it.

Classical but not classism.
I went there on the way to explore the Spanish Michelin Stars, and judging back, I’m realizing how good of a stop it was before diving in another culture.
What’s great here? You’ll experience a very classical French haute cuisine. But it’s not classism. For that you should go at the relais Louis XIII (and note that I love it!). Now, it’s classical haute cuisine. You’ll have all the reference to the land, and its heritage, and the homage to culinary references, but, I’ll be adapted (au goût du jour) so it does not seem old school.
The best way to understand and visualize it is the meet George’s Blanc. He s an old man that look younger (with trying to look young) with enough energy to turn a village into an empire!
Still, in his cuisine, you can feel the heritage and his love for his region.
Interestingly, a small river runs along the restaurant giving this strange feeling that both the time passes, and yet it is suspended. Ambivalence is definitely the theme.
I think it s definitely a 3 stars that an épicurien should visit. Not just because it’s a reference. Because it will give you a great reference to compare the others.

Very nice lunch, a true 3-Star Michelin experience. Service, presentation, environment, setting, food, dessert... all prefect! Especially love to enjoy this experience in a small cosy town, the hometown of the chef. Thanks Georges Blanc!

Wonderful stay at George Blanc’s Resort and Spa. This 5* R&C hotel lived up to expectations, including 5RC upgrade, daily room service, nightly turn down with sweets and espresso and water. Lovely gardens. Lovely town (basically owned by Blanc). Would stay here again for the quality, service, and value.

French culinary royalty.
We stayed 2 nights at the Georges Blanc hotel & spa and experience both the Auberge (separate review) and the 3*** restaurant.
The hotel itself is absolutely stunning and provide the perfect environment for a staycation. We were in the duplex suite which was just stunning on 2 levels with its own fireplace, 2 bedrooms and terraces. Service was just perfect, from the voiturier who took care of everything for us to the lovely staff assisting and caring for you at breakfast and by the pools. Breakfast is simply the best breakfast you’ve ever had...
The restaurant itself was just pure perfection. Went for the 7 courses menu; the tourteau, the lobster, frogs legs, the rouget, the pigeon and the poularde were out if this world. Such flavour, such bajj oh acne, such textures, just pure delight. For dessert, the délice de Vonnas was the star of the show.
An unforgettable experience.

Fantastic place to eat. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Restaurant owned by George BLANC so was expecting a good meal and was not disappointed.

Nice place, nice set up, nice service. Amazing starters, good mains, a bit classic or common tho...

This was our third time visiting Georges Blanc and we have had a great time every single time. The door staff, bar staff and restaurant staff always went out of their way to help us and make our stay perfect. We will be back again.

fabulous traditional cuisine, high quality products, impeccable hospitality

Great service and witnessed the most loving execution placed on such humble ingredients in order to get the best flavors out of them. Love the ambience and really a wonderfully warm and convivial place to savour local recipes. Even had the chance to be meet and be greeted by M. Blanc himself as he casually makes time to move from table to table to make the guests feel welcome into his restaurant. The perfect place to make memories ♥

An experience out of this world, it is worth a trip, and I am coming from
Montana! The food is exceptional, everything is superb, the wines paired are perfect, the staff is friendly but so respectful, the experience is outstanding. I would recommend to anyone that want to have a taste of heaven food!

It is owned by the 3 Michelin Star chef, George's Blanc, but is not rated 3 stars. The food is excellent and a great value for the service provided. You should get reservations to eat here. The grounds are lovely as is the town.

The real deal, Georges is no TV chef. Perfect meal and service. We were a table of seven people and stayed almost 3 hours for a lunch, and what a lunch... At some point, there was a mix up with our second main courses and a dish three of us did not order was placed in front of us. We told the waiting staff straightaway and instead of taking the plates back they simply offered them to us. Pure class. Don't hesitate to talk to the sommelier for the perfect wine/dish recommendation and also, let him try the wine and talk to you about flavours, colour, smell... Poetry!

Bucket list dinner. Impeccable service. World class meal. History, culture, atmosphere. Can't recommend enough.
