It was a wonderful, magical and memorable experience.
The ticket allows you to go on every ride and do all the activities in the park as much as you want, with the exception of the hot-air balloon which is paid separately.
The staff are extremely friendly and animated. They always try to make sure everything is going well.
The theme park itself is very colorful and beautiful. It has a big variety of plants and flowers, which can be very informative and interesting. Aside from that, there's paleontology, history (marine history), story tellings, etc...
It's a really wonderful place to spend the day in and de-stress. I recommend visiting it vividly!

Truly amazing place where nature comes to life. It’s a beautiful site with a great range of activities, shows and rides, if you have children in any way interested in nature then they will love it.

Our children even sat transfixed through a couple of shows all in French as they were so well done.

The butterflies are beautiful.

An amazing botanical experience. On the face of it this is an amusement park with a number of rides for adults and kids. However, there is a multitude of ornamental, aromatic and edible plants from around the world, most of them bearing labels with their botanical and common names. Only regret was arriving in the afternoon and not having an entire day to explore.

A very beautiful park made for both kids and adults, where you get to learn effortlessly about botanics, plants and the history of the region, while having a fun time.

Positive
- Pricing: Admission costs and overall prices in the park are very reasonable.

- Waiting lines: Virtually none, a large majority of the activities in the park are directly accessible without waiting. The only lines we experienced were for the shows, the train, the walnuts and the boat ride, for which it can be expected. The feeling that we enjoyed our day in that park much more than in any others owes a lot to that, it removed a lot of the pressure you get from trying to do the most while fighting queues.

- Aesthetic: This is really a breathtakingly beautiful park. Even at the end of April there were already many beautiful plants and flowers all over the parks.

- Educative: The attractions and activities are really cleverly built, allowing you to learn a lot about botanics, plants, and the history of the region without even realising it.

- Services: Lockers, strollers, and wheelchairs are available for rent at very reasonable prices.

Neutral:
- Balloon: Unfortunately subject to weather conditions, we weren't able to experience it. At least the current status is clearly stated on the website (in our case it was orange when leaving home, and became red when we arrived).

- Shows: We only experienced two of them. "Le Jardin des Légendes" was really nice and informative, but the screen projection could be improved. "À l'épreuve des extrêmes" was really lacklustre, not much is done with the available setting. At least it was interestingly coupled with four different greenhouses allowing to experience the different climates.

Negative:
- Eating: If you bring your own lunch, you have to eat it just outside the gates where an area is specifically made for that. This is absolutely not customer-friendly. I can imagine a few reasons for that (keeping the park clean, encouraging people to buy food), but you really shouldn't have to walk back half the park just to eat your lunch.

- English translation: The English version of the website as well as the English information provided in the park are just glaringly bad. It was clearly not reviewed by someone with a sufficient proficiency. Plus, I couldn't find on the website an easy way to switch to the French version, no matter what I tried.

- Ruée vers l'ambre: This specific attraction was nothing but frustration. You're invited to search for amber in an artificial river filled with sand, using a sieve and a shovel. But after about an hour of all 4 of us searching, we found nothing. Other visitors visibly had the same bad experience. This attraction definitely requires a fix. Other similar activities we did in different places made it a balanced experience, with enough material placed that you're guaranteed to find something after a while.

We are now on to our second visit to Terra Botanica and we loved every minute of it.
We arrived just after opening time and the car park was already filling up - we were guided to the next available parking space by one of the helpful staff, and then took the 2 minute walk into the park.
We had not bought our tickets online in advance, but there were no queues, so didn't lose any time.
The park itself is very well laid out, with signposts and maps showing you where to go.
We particularily liked the butterfly house (although there were so many people inside that you couldn't always get up close to the butterflies).
We took the boat ride through the gardens, were very envious of the neatly laid out veggie garden and loved the attention to detail in all areas of the gardens.
Recommended for all ages - lots of games and activities for children, plus a 4D ride with dinosaurs for the older kids!

We were 2 adults and 2 children 5 and 3, we were able to visit the most important attractions in half a day. We also visited terra noctua at 21h45 and had a blast. One of the best parks i have ever visited. There are lots of things for children to do experience and learn.

Great place to spend a day, especially with children. Terra Botanica is a curious mix of botanical gardens, themed lands, interactive exhibits and low speed rides (boat ride for example). Plenty of places to sit and relax, have a picnic or buy your food on site (reasonable prices). One word of caution: as you might expect, everything is in French, including the performances and exhibits, which might mean you struggle to follow some things if you don’t understand French.

Beautiful, quiet, interesting, good with little ones. Lots of fun things to do. Just pack your own picnic as they only sell sweet food towards closing time which is not so good for feeding little ones.

I wish they could make more clear the road
to different places. Not so easy to find the places you want to visit

Pleasantly surprised! Was not sure what to expect, but spent a few very enjoyable hours with the family, including a three year old. The balloon ride is great, the huge variety of gardens interesting, butterfly enclosure great. Not sure if it is a place you go lots of times per year, but very enjoyable

Unexpectedly great day out, ran out of time visiting which is always a good sign.
Such variety on display and diversity across the different areas in the parc.

Great place for a full day out. We didn't manage to get around all of it in one day. Not too busy when we went so no queues apart from the nut shell ride which we waited 25 mins for. The boat ride commentary could be switched into English if you asked which was helpful - other commentary and exhibitions mostly solely in French.

So many activities! So much to discover, you definitely get your money's worth. Unfortunately the weather wasn't cooperating, but still a lovely day out

Visited in June on a not very busy Saturday so perfect for the attractions. When crowded, must be less pleasant. Prices in the park food quarter are seasonably high but you can get out during the day to picnic your own food in the open area tables next to the park entry. There are loads of children friendly activities, it is a definitely all-day kind of visit. Lots of shade as well so sunny weather is not a problem. Also, there are loads of rest areas like hammocks and big cushions all over the park for you to take a break. Oh, just a little heads up- the balloon ride is not included in the price, you need to pay extra for that (5eur per person). We had a great day though, will be coming back.
