Les Terrasses du Lac

Great experience. The restaurant has it all for a romantic dinner: delicious food, a stunning view of the lake, welcoming staff, and a cozy vibe. Yet every point goes beyond expectations. The lake view is complemented by trees occupying the entire space between you and the shore (no buildings or roofs obstructing the view). The vibe is enhanced by cozy lights and relaxing music (ranging from sax instrumentals to Frank Sinatra songs). The servers are so warm and welcoming that you feel like a regular, favorite customer who has been coming here for years. The food is so good I wish I could eat the entire menu. This place could be the reason to visit Lake Annecy. If you go to Annecy and skip Les Terassess du Lac, you miss out on half the experience of the trip.

Delicious food, great views, and friendly and professional staff. We had a great evening and if felt like we had a lot of privacy. Like the terrace and the lake was only ours.
It's better to book it in advance as they can get busy.

Dinner at Les Terrases Du Lac restaurant was our last dinner in France before we were heading home back to US.
Restaurant description in terms of ambiance, the view and food does not do justice to the experience you will have at this place.

I also want to add one more detail about our experience: staff, including the owner of the restaurant, go over and above to make sure you have the best experience there.
We were done with our dinner very late and could not secure an UBER or a taxi ride back to our hotel in Annecy. No ride, no problem: the owner of the restaurant drove us her self in her own car. That was very unexpected and very appreciated.

So go ahead and try them. I am sure you will have a wonderful time.

Amazing views to the lake of Annecy in the midst of a forest. Surreal setting and kind service . Foot is fresh and well cooked . Great moment

Annecy welcomes us with Les Terrasses du Lac’s balcony, where a tremendous lake view accompanies delicious food and professional service. We could not have been happier.

Very nice 3 courses menu with a great service and variety of wine. The location is perfect, close to the city center and amazing views to the lake. The food was very tasty and service was impeccable, big cheers to Roberto who recommended the right wine for every single course, very friendly with attention to detail, nest service in town. Excellent location, the terrace is overlooking the lake. The food is tasty the menu is seasonal and the service is friendly, courteous without being pompeous.
It's on the expensive side but totally worth the money.

Great food and service and an amazing view of the lake we had a lovely dinner there on a super warm summer evening. We hiked up from Sevrier - worth it but it is a steep and rocky path, not a leisurely amble so wear robust footwear!

Their menus are very interesting, and the dishes are always tasty. The staff is nice and the view is stunning! Would recommend.

This view is definitely worth it, and the food is great. One advice - if you don’t want to walk/don’t have a car, please, take care of the taxi in advance. It’s almost impossible to find a driver on a spot.
