Matra automobile museum space

Had a wonderful visit, a nice little museum, and a British temporary exhibition there also. Free parking around the corner, good clean toilets, friendly staff. Highly recommend a visit.

A very nice museum, definitely worth a visit. They exposition a lot of historic racing and rally cars, but also concept and some regular cars. It was a fun and educational experience. Entrance €7,- Durance 1 up to several hours, depending on your interest in the subject.

Even though it was a 100km drive to Romarantin to visit the museum it was worth it. If, like me, you are a petrol head, then it is a must visit. This was my sixth or seventh visit and I will go again in years to come.

Very cool little museum with a lot of race cars an odd prototypes.

What a wonderful place for petrol heads. Most displays and videos are in French but all of the car/engine exhibits have English translations too. Even better is the fact this display is in one of the factories where Matra vehicles were built. The engine display is excellent. Refreshments can be purchased at reception. I'm also sure I saw a simulator being assembled. One word of caution. If like me you drive a large camping car, don't try to park at the museum. Use the public car park adjacent. Would I come here again. Too right I would!

Great museum showing some of Matra's vehicles over the years. Models are a little weird but they do add to the character of the place.

My son is car mad and loved this place, well laid out and very interesting for a brand i had personally not heard of.

Great little museum tucked away near the centre of town, use public car park round the corner. Lots of racing history from the 60's & 70's and an interesting road car collection.
