Café de la Paix

Very friendly service. The food is delicious! We ordered the chicken skewers with 3 types of vegetables, the vegetables are so fresh and sweet.

I had no idea what to order, but server recommended me food of the day, which was amazing. I never had this kind of soft pork ever in my life. All the sauces on the plate was super great and I don’t even like mushroom, but it was so tasty so I finished entire dish. PLZ GO TO THIS RESTAURANT if u r in this city.

Very nice and cosy place to have a peaceful meal. Menu is not big but tasty. Very good selection of drinks available. Friendly service with a smile.

Extremely good !! (Picture was taken after having eaten a bit..). Every plates are above expectations, home made and meticulously prepared, with fresh ingredients. Good prices, friendly and arranging staff, arty and nice place to sit in.

Great place for lunch in Auvers. Have bands on in evening.

We enjoyed one of the best meals we’ve had these two weeks we’ve spent in France. We had the most delicious butternut squash soup,’ lentils with pork, ans some wonderful carrots in a cream sauce. If visiting this little town, stop here for a meal, it’s great. Eric the owner, chef is a delight.

I have been several time to Auvers sur Oise as a tour guide and for my own enjoyment. I was very pleased about this new ownership on my last visit. In this absolutely gorgeous and charming town where Vincent Van Gogh is buried after having spent the last 70 days of his life, the Café de la Paix not only has a more modern yet inviting new make over but the place also caters great friendliness with young passionate staff.
Two major things why you should go there with your friends:
1- To have a drink (or two) of the "inFamous absinthe known as the Green Fairy". It is served in the way they used to in the 19th century: Dripping cold water from a table fountain over a piece of sugar that sits on a hollow spoon itself sitting across the top of a glass filled with a shot of absinthe. This subtle refreshing little melange is to die for! It is like returning back in time with Van Gogh and his contemporaries.
2- The new owners also reopened the former movie theater at the back of the restaurant for special screening events ran by an association. It is the way it was back in the days here in Auvers sur oise.

In conclusion, they give a new life to this restaurant in one of the best feelgood towns near Paris, home of several painters like Van Gogh, d'Aubigny, Cezanne, Pissarro and more.

인종차별을 당했다는 리뷰를 보았는데 우리는 전혀 그런 느낌을 받지 않았습니다.
주문을 받는분은 우리에게 메뉴에 대해 잘 설명해 주셨어요.
앙트레로 시킨 스프와 치즈 메뉴는 맛있었습니다.
메인 요리였던 연어와 돼지고기 요리, 디저트도 훌륭했어요.
아이들도 키즈메뉴에 만족했습니다.
식당의 분위기도 좋았고 옆테이블에서 식사를 마친 프랑스 노부부가 우리에게 친절하게도 사진을 찍어주겠다고 하였습니다.
합리적인 가격에 이정도 음식이라면 프랑스에서 꽤 괜찮은 식당이라고 생각합니다.

Muito bom café/restaurante francês de "campagne", parecia que estávamos chez René da série Alô Alô. Ambiente descontraído e acolhedor, staff muito simpático e disponível, comida bem confeccionada e com aspeto caseiro.

Très bon point de chute, en terme de restaurant, si vous passez par Auvers-sur-Oise.

Sans réservation, nous avons pu déjeuner en salle. L' accueil est convivial et dans une ambiance familial et à la bonne franquette!

Les produits sont de qualité et les assiettes sont copieuses le tout pour un très bon rapport-qualité-prix.

Le kir royal à la crème de châtaigne a été une pétillante découverte et sur les conseils avisés de la gérante.

Nous avons passé un excellent moment culinaire.

Néanmoins, la réservation d' une table est conseillée.

Je le recommande bien volontiers.

跟團的第一餐到奧維小鎮用餐，很特別的餐點～點心是檸檬派喜歡～吃完到附近走走～很漂亮！如果是旅遊可以在旁邊的超市購買伴手禮喔～

J'ai pu goûter au ravioles faites maison qui étaient vraiment délicieuses, félicitations au chef !

Nous nous sommes régalés dans une bonne ambiance. Le serveur était souriant et le service bien.

Un lieu très agréable où l'on mange fort bien. Les légumes de saison sont toujours valorisés .

Mention spéciale à l'ambiance guinguette des dimanches avec un accordéoniste de talent !
