La Barge Restaurant

Beautiful restaurant - the decor and music were perfect. We had charcuterie and a bottle of wine in the afternoon while waiting for some museums to open. I would definitely go back.

You must lunch here if you’re visiting this antique city. The ambiance wis wonderful, I mean you’re in a ship 😊 why wouldn’t it be. The food was amazing, must try the wine and the staff was wonderful and polite. Such a pleasure to be here visiting from Chicago.

Great food, location, and service! Kid’s menu was much appreciated and parents, too!! First time eating a pink bun and the local blond was Yummy!!

Pros:
1. Friendly and helpful waiters
2. The fried sea bass was delicately cooked and it tasted very fresh
3. The garnishing vegetables were a refreshing addition to the dish
4. If you don’t eat too much sweet potato purée, the bass dish is a light but filling meal
5. The cooks excellently combined different flavors
6. Being on a boat was fun
7. The atmosphere was relaxed and we had a beautiful view of the water and of the surrounding buildings
8. We could order free tap water

Cons:
1. There was too much sweet potato purée on our plates
2. Perhaps there was too much olive oil on ours plates as well, but at least it was not drizzled onto the fish or onto the sweet potato purée

Wonderful restaurant on a barge. Great atmosphere, really lovely staff and the food was superb! They also welcomed our dog - come here!

We came here once on a getaway to Troyes and now we're back again. And just like last time this place exceed our expectations.

We had the veggie burger and it was really good. I don't eat meat, but if I did I would have gotten the special which was a huge piece of steak with a side and desert for 15€! Where can you find a deal like that!

Definitely a place to visit.

Excellent Onglet on a shaded deck on a sunny day. Chaource cheese sauce was an unusual steak sauce option (and the Bearnaise was good too). Child menu options were good and the grilled salmon was very good.

I've been here twice in the last year and never been disappointed. Good service, great venue and lovely food. Only let down was the Cafe Gourmand but still a 4/5.

Will definitely go back for a visit to Troyes and La Barge.

Great place, great food, great drink and fantastic service

We really enjoyed the spere on the boat. The interior was great, service very nice and food delicious. The place to be for a night out .... and they have a nightclub downstairs !! No review on that because we went to other places.

Great Service and a fabulous meal.
We managed to telephone ( with poor French)and book a table for dinner and the restaurant was very helpful.

Great setting, DELICIOUS food and very nice people. No hesitation! Will go again as soon as I can. The vegetarian burger is delicious (guacamole...), served with homemade fries AND a homemade sauce. Definitely try to keep some room for a dessert, they are amazing! 😍😍😍

I don't know about the restaurant itself, but this place turn into a bar/club at night (friday and saturday). As someone from Troyes, I have spent many night there (mostly friday and saturday). It's pretty good, with trendy people (mostly age 18-25), a nice crowd, and also pretty good music if you like electro/house/techno. It also happen to close at 7am on Saturday, which is pretty late considering most club in Troyes close around 5 and 6

Food was A+ and for a great price. You can get a 3 course meal for under €30. You won't be disappointed with this choice!
