I cannot judge if this is authentic or just made up for tourists, but besides the viking-like atmosphere, the food was extremely good. We tried a good range of fish, side dishes and different kinds of meat and everything was absolutely perfect. Also the service is totally on point. If you don't mind medieval seats and glasses, the food alone is totally worth it!

Great atmosphere! Staff speak fluent English and were able to explain the menu options. The recommended reindeer stake was cooked to perfection and accompanied by an excellent local beer. Happy to pay the slightly higher charge compared to other local restaurants. A good find!

The service was incredible, the ambience felt perfect for a typical scandinavian eating place. The food and desserts totally blew us away. My wife ordered the "Finnlandian Retki" and the Tar-Icecream with Lingonberry-Icecream tasted surprisingly delicious.

I had dinner at this restaurant twice. Both times it was really good! It's really nice to eat something different and special. The food is really tasty, the service is amazing and the vibes are great! I will come back again!

Good place to eat. Asked what they recommend and how spicy i can handle. Rendeer i've ordered. With a group of 14 persons we have eat over here. The place is like old vikings with the big cups and clothing. I will come back.

I wanted to make sure that my visit to Finland included the chance to try local foods. This is absolutely the place to do it. Keep in mind that this isn’t the place to go if you’re on a budget, but if you’re looking to spoil yourself with a delicious and well presented wild game dinner - this is it. Our table had a variety of plates, but I went with the Voyage of the Northern Lights, which included a main course of reindeer tenderloin. Coming from Canada and having eaten venison and elk, I was expecting something similar. The tenderloin was beautifully cooked and presented with a chanterelle sauce and potato cake over cooked root vegetables in a modern method of preparation of Viking food. If you’re considering this as an experience in taste, rather than filling your belly, I highly recommend it.

Great show of Finnish food. Very nice service. Viking style scenario.

Viking style restaurant, food with fun names and really tasty. A great place for even birthday parties or other family celebrations. The staff speaks of a funny dialect, which is not done restaurant in Helsinki. Doses are quite satisfactory. If you don't want to be too full belly, take the start and main course or main and dessert.

Food was good tried Elk dish. And service and atmosphere was also good. More like Scandinavian

A really very nice restaurant. Generous portion sizes and platters very nicely presented. Great variety of different finnish foods. Our waitress Happy Hilda was lovely and helpful with getting the English version of the menu. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

The food matches the theme, and tastes great.
On the not so awesome side, it's a reservation based restaurant, but it's understandable due to how limited the space is, and how much effort is required to be put into creating the experience.

The second restaurant so far that I can say "experienced the restaurant" instead of "ate there"
