Cafe Kariranta

Walked from the station here in the freezing rain (in summer haha) just to try their viennoiseries and cakes, since people raved about it on google. Really really worth it! The fragrance of the cinnamon buns in the oven comes through even before you enter, and you really can’t think of having anything else. So of course I chose the Korvapuustit and Kahvi - really warmed me up! Ambience is lovely, very cosy. The Pulla looked good too, so I took one back for snacking later in the day.
The girls at the counter are really sweet.
Also, they have a shop next door with some postcards and other trinkets - definitely worth checking out and supporting this venture! Lady was wonderful and helpful.

We drove from Helsinki to Lahti for their Banana Chocolate Cake. The cake is heavenly good, cafeteria is cozy and scenery beautiful. Worth the trip!

Such a nice and cozy place with a wonderful view of vesijärvi. Tea of the day was recommended and it was tasty. Britakakku was so delicious I could have eaten a second share of it!

A lovely café in an old wooden house in the harbour of Lahti. Great choice of warm & ice coffee & tea. Lots of cakes, ice cream and other sweets to choose from. If the weather is nice, the terrace is the place to be but it's also very cozy in the building.

What a jewel! We were looking for a nice place to take a late breakfast and decided to make a stop in Lahti. When you enter through the door we were overwhelmed by this incredible scent of bakery and cinnamon, all baked right in this location. We had a little queue (popular place with locals on a Sunday) which was so much worth it. The selection of sweet and salty bakery and quiches is fresh and delicious, coffee was great too. I loved to sit inside, so cozy and styled with love! Outside is nice too, with view onto the lake and the harbour. Don’t miss the small shop that sells genuine, handcrafted finish items.

Very good bagels and we loved the view! Staff is very nice too. You have to try the cinnamon rolls!

The best coffee and cinnamon bun in town. They always have different cakes, pies and sandwiches, tea and other drinks. The staff is very friendly and they speak English very well. You can pay by card or cash. A must go in Lahti after a walk around the harbor. Don't forget to take a look at the little store together the coffee shop. One of my favorite places in Lahti.

Most lovely coffee place in Lahti

This is the greatest café in the world. The ambient is spectacular, views stunning and repertoire of dishes is world-class, especially their 'cheese-filled-croissant' and Finnish buns. Wifi, peace, decorative setting in a taste of far cast Finnish traditions gives this place full five stars and beyond.

Anyone visiting Finland this is a must.

My favorite cafeteria I'm Lahti. Beautiful sights, very nice old building, good coffee and delicious treats and friendly staff. What else can you expect? Definitely, a true must.

An old train station that now serves as a cafe. Its freshly baked pastries, rolls and pies never disappoint. Especially recommended in the Summer when you can sit on the cafe's terrace and look out to the lake while you eat.
