Probably the largest maritime museum in Finland. A large exhibition of the military and civil maritime history of Finland. Additionally, there are several large historical vessels that can be visited. We spent over two hours visiting the vessels and about one hour in the main exhibition.

Very spacious, explorative but at the same time very warmly designed museum. One of the best museums that I've visited in Finland. Exhibitions perfectly shows the maritime world and the number of exhibits is just massive.

Really well-laid out museum with all kinds if displays and interactive exhibits on Turku’s maritime history. Your ticket includes a look round the bridge of the Bore, the old ship which now serves as a hotel. I only went here because I had time to kill waiting for my train, but it exceeded my expectations and I’d put it at the top of the list of any visit to Turku.

Very impressive. A large amount of the exhibits were hands on, which I found to be unique and a big bonus to the museum. The museum covers all aspects of Finnish maritime history and incorporates technology very well. There are also around 5 or 6 ships that you can go on and look through as part of the museum.

A very impressive maritime museum. Two large indoor exhibitions with old wooden leisure boats, objects, photos and information of shipbuilding, military and commercial exhibition areas etc... Outside there is several navy and civillian museum ships, you can visit. If you tour all exhibitions and ships, it takes easily 4-6 hours. The museus has a large parking area, a restaurant, small shop. The nearest bus stop is a few meters from the door. On a nice day you can walk from the city centre by the river. Guest harbour is a few hundred meters away. Also very short distance from the cruise ship harbour.

Me and my son spent the whole day there.
There were so many impressions and pleasures for him that on the way back to Helsinki the son forgot about his phone and fell asleep almost immediately.

An interesting and versatile museum, one of the best in Turku. A lot of information about the history of shipwreck. The entry ticket paid 9 euro, worth the money. Also available is a two-day bracelet, which also has a museum on the ship. The museum also has a nice restaurant.

Visited this museum more than once and it is well worth it. Especially interesting are the different vessels anchored to the Aurajoki shore.
