Nice campsite close to a beautiful lake and surrounded by forest. In autumn you can pick blueberries in the area and go for hiking. For nature-lovers it's a perfect place! In winter the cross-country skiing track starts at the campsite. The kitchen has a two ovens for baking. Outside you have several campfire places.

Amazing camping! Facilities very clean and nice, new kitchen, showers and toilets, friendly staff, and for very reasonable, great price.. very nice stay! Thank you!

A nice waterfront camping and holiday village with quite a few cabins on the lakefront and a few more very close to the lake. For camping and caravan guests there are public showers and sauna too. There is a nice sand beach too for warmer summer days and for the future when global warming will hit and Lapland will be the new Riviera of Europe.

Spent 4 nights here in one of the greylog cottages. The cottage was clean and well-equipped for 1 or 2 people, including fridge, dishwasher, electric stove, oven and sauna. The lake is just a few meters away, perfectly amazing place to relax and slow down in this ever-rushing world. The holiday village also has an excellent restaurant, with small, but very tasty selection of breakfast and lunch menus and à la carte options (yes, of course including local reindeer 🤤). Staff speaks English and the owners were kind enough to give me a lift in good company to the nearby national park, Riisituntturi, as an additional service. Otherwise, the village is available also by public transport from either Kuusamo or Rovaniemi direction, although the schedule is a bit sparse, but still doable.

Nice cabin, small with our two dog's inside but has all amenities. Outstanding scenery with a beautiful lake. Nature lovers paradise 😊 👍🏻

A beautiful and peaceful site with a very friendly staff and clean well-equipped facilities. The restaurant in the main building is a nice addition. We will definitely visit again!

Hienoissa maisemissa, mukavan pieni mökki. Kaikki tarvittavat löytyivät saman katon alta! Monipuoliset harrastus mahdollisuudet ympärillä.

Fantástica experiencia en Himmerki. Paisaje inolvidable en invierno con el lago helado. Cabaña muy acogedora y fantásticas actividades para realizar en la zona. Todo muy bien organizado. Especial atención y agradecimiento a Minna, sin ella mi viaje hubiese sido muy diferente.

Suloinen pieni hirsimökki omalla saunalla. Kaunis ja rauhallinen Kitkajärven rantamaisema. Ravintolasta voi ostaa aterioita. Erinomaisella aamiaisella paikallista kalaa, itse tehtyä omenahilloa ja suussa sulavia köyhiä ritareita.

La estancia en Himmerki ha sido una experiencia inolvidable.
Cabaña muy confortable , magnífica comida, personal super amable. Una mención especial para la responsable de atención al público Suvi , pendiente te todos y de todo.
Esquí de fondo con material gratis, trineo de perros, increíble experiencia,excursiones a lugares bellísimos como el parque nacional de Riisintunturi.

Wir waren Ende September mit unserem Wohnmobil für eine Nacht auf diesem wunderschön gelegenen Campingplatz, der zu dieser Jahreszeit kaum besucht war.
Die Lage mitten im Wald und direkt am See ist kaum zu toppen.
Wir kamen leider im Dunklen dort an, was die Stellplatzsuche, wenn man dort noch nie war, etwas kompliziert machte.
Bei der Anmeldung bekamen wir aufgrund leichter Sprachbarrieren (Englisch) den Eindruck von Unfreundlichkeit, allerdings schieben wir dies tatsächlich auf die Kommunikationsschwierigkeiten.
Alle Räumlichkeiten waren sehr sauber und aufgeräumt, es gab sogar vor jeder Tür (Dusche, WC, Küche...) für die Gäste ein paar Gummilatschen, damit alles sauber blieb.
Wir würden auf jeden Fall jederzeit wiederkommen.

Ihana lomakeskus kauniilla paikalla. Olimme asuntovaunulla liikenteessä. Hyvin hoidettu ja siisti alue! Lapsille turvallinen uimaranta. Erityismaininta erinomaisesta asiakaspalvelusta ❤ Lämmin kiitos ja suosittelut muillekin!

Olen majoittunut työreissuilla eri vuodenaikoina 3 erilaisessa hirsimökissä. Kaikissa todella hyvä varustelutaso ja omat saunat.
