Brewery & Restaurant Maistonki

Everything is homemade with local products of very good quality. The restaurant has also his own cider for the all year which is drunk cold, and also for the Christmas time which can be drunk hot to warm you during the cold winter of Finland. I highly recommend to come and eat there! And the atmosphere is very warm and familial... A place of Kustavi not to be missed if you are passing by!

A restaurant in the archipelago not to be missed! The food is homemade and of good quality. The plates are very full and there is a lot of choice: you can eat local fish, meat, vegetables... The dishes are made with passion and really delicious! The cider made by the ccompany is also a very good drink to accompany your plate. I strongly recommend to you this Brewery-Restaurant.

Visited on a Tuesday with wife and children and enjoyed a delicious salmon dish, while the children were very happy too about their pulled pork. Stayed the night in Kustavi (Lootholma) and came back the next morning for more. Had a wonderful local breakfast (make sure to taste the goat cheese / egg dish with jam) along with very kind service. Very good value for your money indeed. Glad to recommend!

I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. The food is delicious! The menu is full of honest, traditional dishes made from locally produced ingredients. Everything is made in the restaurant. I managed to go twice. I can recommend the salmon and the deer meatballs (riistapyörykät). The sauce in the latter made me want to lick the plate.

I could not have had a more lovely experience with the cidery and restaurant! All of the food that they make is creative, high quality, and most importantly delicious! You can really feel that they work hard to highlight local, seasonal ingredients. The flavors are well balanced and the food is fresh! I got to try some truly unique foods to the Archipelago and I enjoyed the fish, moose, berries, breads, and more that made me fall in love with the food of this area. The three types of cider that I got to try were all delicious and high quality as well! Make sure you try some of their homemade jams and pickled onions on the side 🤤
The food is served with great care and pride, and of course with a smile! Mira is such a welcoming and kind person. All of the staff/family of Panimoravintola Maistonki will welcome you in and make you feel like you are a part of the family!

Really excellent! We fell in love with the various salmon dishes ... especially the salmon burger and the mixed salmon salad. Very nice people as well, and they were so friendly to our brown labby-mix. We will hopefully soon come back! Thanks Maistonki team :-) and greetz from (back in) Germany, Michael and friends

WOW... I have not been a fan of Cider till now... I am from the United States and purchased 4 different Ciders from Mira. The best I have ever had before I would rate this a MUST beverage with your Meal or by itself. Thanks Mira !!!!!!! Dana H. Nampa, ID USA

Everuthing we ate at this restaurant was delicious and the hosts are very welcoming. Everything felt home-made and the cider alone is worth a special trip.

It’s nice to finally find a place with quite some vegetarian/vegan options.

The delicious food, combined with the friendly staff and the good atmosphere, made sure for a pleasant evening.

We stayed for Lunch. Everything was selfmade with very local products and tasted great.
The owner’s are very kind.

Oli kyllä sellainen paikka, johon varmasti päädytään toistekin. Nyhtöburgeri löysi heti tiensä Suomen top5-listalle ja Menu näytti niin hyvältä, etten epäile toisienkaan annosten sijoitusta kärkeen 🤌

Ihanaa paikallista lähiruokaa lähitiloilta ja lähimetsistä. Rakkaudella itse tehtyä laadukasta ruokaa. Maistuvat omat siiderit.

Lyhyt pysähdys matkalla lautalle. Kahvit ja mitä herkullisinta lohipiirakkaa sekä kotiinviemiseksi panimon siideriä. Ensi kerralla pidemmän kaavan kautta.

Kesän aikana on tullut kerran jos toisenkin käytyä nauttimassa Maistongin herkkuja, eikä pettymyksiä ole tullut. Kala eri muodoissaan & peura ovat suosikkejamme, samoin siiderit😊. Hienoa, kun raaka-aineiden alkuperä on tiedossa ja saa suosia lähiruokaa. Myös palvelu on ollut joka kerta iloista & ripeää , kaikin puolin hyvät fiilikset jääneet😊.

Löysimme ravintolaan sesongin jo päätyttyä, palvelu oli silti 12/10 ja ruoka sanalla sanoen taivaallista (ja 100 % paikallista, pisteet siitä). Suussa sulavat savulohiburgerit veivät kielemme ja panimon oma omenasiideri suorastaan koukutti. Vahva suositus, myös jälkkäripiirakalle!

Ravintolan ruoat ovat hyviä ja itse tehtyjä alusta loppuun asti. Mitään valmistuotteita ei käytetä ja jokainen annos valmistetaan tilauksesta.
Tiedän tämän kokemuksesta sillä olen seurannut ravintolan toimintaa koko sen olemassaolon ajan hyvin läheltä.

Tällä kertaa ei käyty syömässä vaan käytiin tutustumassa siiderivalikoimaan ja saatiin maistiaiset heidän artesaanisiidereistään. Mahtavia makuja, erittäin ystävälliset ja asiantuntevat omistajat! Lämmin suositus, kannattaa poiketa!
