Turku Airport

Great airport. Small and cozy with a lot of sitting areas. There is a self-service luggage drop off, no need to stay in line. Also, there is a cantine that is opened Monday through Friday.

So convenient to fly into Turku from Stockholm, easy flight, great flight attendants, clean plane, 1 hour flight! Bags came off right away!

Well, tiny airport, which serves its purpose, remember you are in Finland. They do not have where to buy stuff, so be prepared. For first-time visitors to Finland, be aware that when they say board at 4:00 you are in the plane at 3.45. Their sense of time is different. They love waiting in line which means PANIC if you are just 2 hours before.

A wonderful airport to travel through for Turku being only only 8km from the city centre.
There are a number of car hire companies right at the terminal building and a bus stop right in front that has a service every 15 minutes to and from the city centre.
Being such a small airport check in and security is super fast
I would highly recommend flying from this airport if stay is in and around Turku even for international flights where you have to change at Helsinki in the ease of check in process and that you don’t have to walk miles to and from Gate

Very practical gateway to abroad from Turku. It just works efficiently. Only complain came to my mind are slow parking payment machines :-)

Free WiFi. Small and efficient. Bus to the city picks up right outside the main doors.
