Delhi Rasoi Kauniainen

A very nice restaurant with authentic Indian cuisines.

I could only recommend this restaurant. It was a pleasant experience visiting. We took a Tandoori seafood platter for 21,90€ recommended by a waitress and a Biryani chicken for 18,90€. We were served a plate of papadam with sweet sauce while waiting for our meal. We ordered also a glass of mango lassi, it was sweet, tasty and had nice consistency.

The biryani was full of taste thanks to different spices and herbs. The seafood platter was served with naan bread and a bowl of rice, had some grilled bell peppers and zucchini, three pieces of Tandoori-made salmon and three king prawns. All was tasty. Although we were not served a salad as promised. The food was so tasty we didn't even notice a lack of salad at that time 😄

We were excited to try kulfi for dessert, but were disappointed due to its icy texture (see photo), we felt ice crunching on our teeth, that kulfi was lacking creamy consistency. The only thing I don't recommend, it's kulfi.

The portions were big, so we ended up asking to pack the leftovers. The rice was packed nicely and this is when we got our unserved side salad (see photo).

Also we were a little bit disappointed not to receive 20% discount on 75th Independence day of India, as was advertised on their FB page, but we did not ask for it the waitress, so I guess it was our fault there.

It was our waitress' first day at work, and she was the only waitress at lunch time in there. So all mishaps could be easily forgiven.

Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to all who appreciate quality tasty food!

Amazing service and delicious food. First time had that Indian taste in Finland. We had chicken tikka masala and lamb vindaloo.
Also the starters were too good.

One of our favourite restaurants. The food is really high quality and tasty, and the portions are quite big. Their chai and mango lassi are also delicious. Most of their food is gluten free and suitable for celiacs. We usually go for dinner, but their lunch buffet is good and affordable too. A gem in Kauniainen.

I usually order online from this place and the food is awesome here. I have been to other Indian restaurants in Helsinki and espoo and everywhere the taste is not authentic. Delhi rasoi atleast matches to the taste buds of India.

Great food, various different types of food and not only offering your typical Tikka Masala. A little slow service though.

Will definitely visit again.

A convenient, tasty, and nutritious lunch. Not the cheapest, but not too expensive one.

The good is good and I like that the buffet menu changes from day to day. My coworkers agree that this is a good place for lunch and dinner.

First if alll, today service very good, the lady welcome with smile, food too much good. We live in espoo keskus but due to good service and food, we like kauniainen daily rasoi.

Very nice atmosphere and excellent food!
Ample space between tables. Kind service. It took a while to be served but we took it as a positive sign that food was freshly done.

Very nicely decorated restaurant for the Kauniainen clientele. A good selection of meals served with typical assortment of sides, rice and naan. Filling meals, enough to eat and share. Very nice, polite and helpful server. Excellent desert recommendation: the Indian tea. Ask it with extra ginger.

Delicious vegitarian biryani and jagar ka halwa

Very authentic Indian food in the locality. Given that lunch quality and tastes differ from À la carte but here is not the case. At Deli Rasoi they have very good tasty lunch options with lunch prices.

Had a really tasty lunch and the staff were really friendly. The restaurant is also very clean, which I really appreciated. Food arrived quickly too :) Recommend it!

Best Indian food in Finland

Excellent food, cooked on the spot (be prepared to wait 30-40 min at dinner time), tasty and delicious. Highly recommended!
