Ravintola Strindberg

We went to celebrate our first time in Helsinki and boy was it an amazing experience! I personally had a Negroni that was just like I love! Than I had the salmon with a poached egg and it was delicious! For the desert, I had a full coconut desert and it was fresh and delicious! This restaurant is a bit pricey but in my opinion it's worth it, the ingredients are such high quality! Plus the waitress was adorable!

Had a very nice lunch here, the service was very friendly and our lunch came out quick. The food was great and the coffee was especially wonderful.

Had a delightful time at the Strindberg café! Enjoyed a delicious hot chocolate and apple pie. The atmosphere was lovely with fast and friendly service. The decor was nice, creating a unique and cozy vibe. Overall, very happy with the experience!

Excellent , best carrot cake ever eaten !! Soft like butter the cinnamon and cardamom was soft and a delight . Service was exceptional happy smiling waitresses to whom spoke better English then I .

Beautiful sit-down, full service restaurant upstairs! I enjoyed the planned course menu with prawn starter and chateaubriand entree. The blueberry crumble was a miss--it did not taste right. One friend tried the truffle menu, and shared a taste of each course, which was delightful! I really enjoyed the beautiful decor of the restaurant and the views as the sun set. Would love to return on my next trip!

I ordered the salmon bowl. Simple, clean, fresh food. Service was great. Atmosphere was also very nice. Too bad I was rushing to the airport and couldn't stay longer. Coffee and sweets also seemed nice. Next time, Helsinki.

I had a coffee and pastry in the evening. Caffeine free coffee and oat meal were standard elements in their menu. Also vegan options for pastries were available. This place has traditional serving to tables including payment as well. Service was fast and friendly. Nice deco and quite unique atmosphere. Considering this place is right in the center their price level was quite okay.

Took long for food but it was amazing I got the club sandwich sooo good and I also got carrot cake

Cosy cafe yet can still accommodate large group. Excellent service. Access is only from the street and not from within the mall.

The restaurant has the great view to the city center’s park. I took the 3-course menu and it was flavorful. The service was nice and friendly together with a touch of elegance.

We had our business dinner here. Excellent service and quality food with drinks. They had good option for Vegetarian as well. Overall great experience

It is a very nice restaurant from cozy atmosphere, delicious food to friendly staffs. I ordered a medium grilled veal which the meat is so tasty that I have never tried. The services is just enough without too much disturbance. I like it very much. Highly recommended.

A very nice restaurant with great service and food. Kids loved to eat a melted cheese ham toast but it was not at the menu, without hesitation they offered to make two of them as we were there with our two kids. Great coffee too!

Fantastic food, but everything is pretty expensive. We had the Stringberg menu with special coffees. This is a nice place with quality service for your special dinner.

Ravintola Strindberg is a must-do when in Helsinki. The traditional Swedish dishes are fantastic, homely and hearty and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming - especially in autumn and winter. Very cosy wathching the rain (or snow) fall on the Esplanadi while enjoing a plate of köttbullar with pickles.

Really lovely place! I walked in there randomly, and got to enjoy nicr hot chocolate and really good leaf seasonal tea at the ground floor. The staff, everyone I interacted with, was super friendly and thoughtful. Very nice ambience and vibe of the place too. I had great xouple of hours warming up, enjoing my beveridge and people watching through the huge windows. Didn't have anything to eat, but the sandwiches and deserts in the display looked fab.
Felt like a very authentic place , with great service and location. Would be back next time I'm in town

Great place for meetings! Prices are the same as in all cafes in Helsinki, but the atmosphere is good and chic :) Recommend! They also have all day breakfast set which is very good.
