So much to see so much to go trough! Visited with a friend who has never been here (about 10th time for me) to see the Königstiger or Kingtiger. He was amazed and for a hopeless lover of tanks I was, again, too. Everytime I visit there's something new or something I didn't notice before. Lovely place, well kept and clean, friendly staff and workers.

An exceptional collection of tanks and other military equipment at this museum. We only had about two hours to spend here which was not nearly enough. We will be returning with the idea to spend an entire day here. In order to see/read everything, one would need to include snacks and breaks throughout a day-long visit. Museokortti is not accepted here unfortunately.

Outstanding collection of tanks plus anti-tank museum exhibition. Small shop and cafeteria. Limited bookstore (mainly in Finnish) but you may find something of interest with luck.

It was a very pleasant surprise for me to see how big the place is and how much you have to see.
The museum is big and you can easily spent a lots of time until you see all the tanks.
The place is full of history and what is awesome is the fact that you can actually climb on two tanks, I found that a unique experience, to actually walk on top of a tank.
When I visited the museum they had the Tiger II in there, a quite impressive a beautiful machine.
I recommend the museum with all my heart, it's a beautiful place.
P.S. They have even a simulator for artillery, you can shoot tanks (of course virtual) with an real piece of artillery.
Thank you very much Parola Tank Museum! I had a very good experience and I will come back for more.

Friendly staff, really great collection of tanks from early to modern ones. Absolute bang for your buck. There were few other armored vehicles and anti-tank weaponry aswell (rocket launchers and anti-tank rifles)

If you are visiting an area nearby this is a must. Sadly the area can become crowded if school trips visit the area. It has lota of history related to the second war. Original medals of Finnish Leutenants, tanks and much more. You can touch some of those and get the idea of how crazy a war can be… tanks should stay in museums and not be used :(
I’ve added some pictures of what you can find there, but there is much more

Excellent value of a museum. Prepare for 2 to 3h if you want to read all the materials. Museum is foreigner friendly with descriptions of everything at minimum in English and for most in Swedish, English and Russian. Entrance fee is only 10 eur but for families it is capped. Also discounts for many groups, including military. Also the museum shop has interesting things I'd never seen in museum shop, from actual tank prisms, old magazines, stickers, patches and more at good prices.

A great museum with plenty of tank history. If you want to see tank development from the early 1900s until today this is the place to visit!

Excellent museum; one of the biggest in Europe (after Bovington UK, Saumur FR, Munster DE and now unaccessible Kubinka RU). Lot of panzer equipment.

Best Tank museum in Northern Europe! For example, the only surviving sample of BT-42. Yes, many tanks in outside exhibition could use some restoration, but there is great stuff still. Inside tho, that's some great stuff. The T-72 cut open for education purposes is interesting, also the cut-open Stug... Nice stuff. Also a lot of text, tanks' infoboards are in FIN, ENG, RUS, GER. Other stuff is in FIN, ENG.
Also nice addon is the antitank- exhibition and tankmotor exhibition for those more technically oriented folks.
At the moment, there is some re-arranging going on, so some stuff is not in the exhibits.
