Finlayson Area

The open and closed area of this place is beautiful. Here is a mixed and matched atmosphere with old and new. Many stores and restaurants are here.

I think this place is the area where you can find the iconic place with old fashioned style, European before 20 centuries. The place has many restaurants, if I count it correctly. There is also a spy museum, but outside of the Finlayson area. Overall, this place is good and you can visit there directly by walking around six minutes from Keskustori trem station.

A very lively place with many restaurants nearby along with home to famous museums. Well maintained, neat & clean and busy during peak hours. A must visit area while in Tampere.

The architecture is gorgeous and the Christmas market was so much fun. We thoroughly enjoyed it even though it was chilly and rainy.

This is a cool area, which has undergone an interesting urban redevelopment in recent years. It's certainly a must-see when you are in Tampere.

Nice historic milieu with great lunch options. Worker's Museum Werstas is free and has interesting exhibitions - especially the huge steam engine.

I love how Tampere utilizes all the industrial areas. Factory maze of Finlayson with art installations, shops or cafes and restaurants waiting around the corner is a great way to spend afternoon.

Interesting area just near the main square, with café's and restaurants. Spy Museum and Roof Walk Experience are great. Cinema here too.

Nice area with great restaurants and shops. Spy museum! Lasertag! Arcade!! The Indian restaurant is very good 5/5 would Tikka Masala again.

This area is so nice during the summer.. the atmosphere is just so nice. Nice for walking and there is one afghan ravintola I haven't visited but I recommend you check it out .

Beautiful city, atmospheric locations like Finlayson factory area. Many nearby local stores and restaurants like Plevna. Movie theater and Vapriikki history/art museum.

This converted factory area is amazing! There are museums, galleries, art studios and shops. Truely something for everyone!
