Reindeer Lake Resort Puolukkamaan Pirtit

We had a “reindeer safari” activity at the farm with Ann-Mari and everything was perfect ! Very nice host and beautiful place. We had another similar activity earlier the same week near Rovaniemi and you can’t compare it, at the Lake Resort everything is natural and calm, less people and a family who you can talk to ! Beautiful place, beautiful animals and beautiful humans ! We would come back for sure ! And have to if we want to keep our “reindeer driving license” 😄

The reindeer farm is so nice, Anne mari treats her reindeers very good and is very friendly. The programs (safaris, feeding) are also cheap compare to other farms but the quality and authenticity are there. Don't hesitate to come if you want to discover reindeers.

What a fantastic experience!!! We enjoyed our reindeer safari from start to finish. Anne-Mari is an excellent guide, full of interesting knowledge about reindeers.

Our visit at the reindeer farm was amazing. After a great ride on a reindeer sledge we were allowed to feed the reindeers. My son was even allowed to give a name to a young reindeer. While grilling sausages we learnt a lot about reindeers. Highly recommended!

I can’t say anything regarding the offered accommodation but regarding the reindeer farm this place is absolutely fantastic! The owner takes care of a huge herd (around 130 reindeers actually) of reindeers. The reindeers are kept naturally (during wintertime within a fence and during summer the reindeers are strolling around in the beautiful forests of Lapland). Some are taken out of the herd every year for their meat which is gained ecologically and therefore with an excellent quality.
The owner offers tours and informs visitors about their work, as well as reindeer sledding through the forest. A small souvenir shop offers their high quality products for a reasonable price.
This is not one of the usual tourist traps like in Rovaniemi and the travel from Rovaniemi is absolutely recommended!

Bellissima esperienza in una tipica fattoria Finlandese Lappone, Anne Marie e i figli sono stati molto gentili, ospitali e simpatici! Molto interessanti le informazioni sulla vita della fattoria, sulla vita delle renne e delle attività che si susseguono nelle stagioni! Spero di poterci tornare presto!

Tolle Rentier-Erfahrung. Es war toll so viel über die Tiere zu erfahren und eine Runde mit dem Schlitten zu fahren. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, ich kann es zu 100% empfehlen!

Nous avons fait la visite de la ferme avec déjeuner (soupe de renne exquise) et explications. Tout simplement merveilleux avec bcp de gentillesse et sourires. Nous étions seulement 10 pour la prestation totale qui dura plus de 3h. La perfection.

Wir waren gestern zur rentierfarm Besichtigung da. Anne-Mari hat die Führung ganz toll gemacht, viel gelernt. Das besondere Highlight ist das Füttern der Rentiere. Kann man nur empfehlen

Rentiere zu streicheln. Höchst interessant. Wir haben eine tolle Führung gehabt und alles wissenswerte über Rentiere erfahren. Ein einzigartiges Erlebnis Rentieren so nah zu sein. Der Souvenirladen bietet einiges und ist preislich echt im Rahmen. Wir haben es genossen so viel über diese Tiere zu erfahren.

Sie werden keinen besseren Ort finden, wenn Sie mit der Natur zusammen sein möchten. Die Gastgeber sind sehr hilfsbereite Unterkünfte, sehr komfortabel, überall Ordnung und Sauberkeit

Durften heute (extra angefragt) ausserhalb der Saison die Rentiere kennenlernen inkl. einer Stunde Führung durch die Besitzerin. Sehr zu empfehlen!
