It's very beautiful in Levi. We have been here for the 2. time. The landscape is magical. In the city you have a lot of shops and restaurants. The snowquality is perfect for skiing, but the slopes are a little bit short. The longest are 1500 meter.

Loved this place so much we are coming back. Such a great place for families, it's not just about skiing here which is why we loved it. Locals are also really friendly. Ski lesson was so much fun.

We loved it here! Lots of free sledges for the kids to play on. Kids land was a bit out of site to the left hiding behind the ski lift, we only found this on day two, it was a bit quieter than the main bit. It had a fire pit/picnic room which was great for warming up and roasting marshmallows and/or hotdogs. The slope was much smaller and great for beginners. Theirs also a huge steep slope for the more experienced. Theirs a shop on site where you can hire or but everything from if needed. Apparently they do ski lessons every morning but were sold out, so book beforehand. Although lots of families hired the kit anyway and just stuck to the beginners slopes

We caught the gondola to the top of the mountain, a bit pricey at £45 for a return ticket (family of 4) , lovely views and a couple of hotels / cafes to grab a hot chocolate from again pricey at £30ish for 4.

Overall a great place, lots to do for free. If you're organised bring your own kit, food and drink and spend the day here totally free!

Love Levi, started going to this ski resort back in 2004 when it was not as commercialised, now 2023 and it's very busy and built up. Guaranteed snow being 150km inside the artic circle, but can get super cold like -34°c and below.

It's amazing what people could build at such low altitude and such small level differences. They have 100km of slopes.

Enjoyed the chair lift ride and the hiking at the Levi ski resort. The chair lift offers mesmerizing view of the Levi and I truly enjoyed every second of it. At the top of the resort, there was a coffee shop and the hut for BBQ. Moreover, it has tracks for the bikers in summer. I will definately visit it again. Highly recommended place!

Levi Ski Resort
Great! Cold!
Good ski fells. A must to visit. For the bucketlist.

Restaurant Steakhouse Pihvipietti
Just outside the more crowded center street of Levi at 5min walking. Great atmosphere in a traditional log cabin. Very friendly waiters.
Exeptional Reindeer Meat.
Wine is as expensive as the rest of Finland.
Reindeer Meat Steak with hunting sauce and Garlic Potatoes a beer and one glass of wine for about 100€. But you could add fresh saladebar buffet for a additional 20€. It’s a favorite of both locals and those in the know : a reservation is recommended.

Panorama hotel.
A dedicated design hotel with beautifull views on the Levi fell. Comfortable spacious room, a modern design bathroom, floorheated with thermostat. Large in-room storage.
Large modern bed and thick bedding.
A sauna on the 7th floor with scenic view over the piste.
A gym at -2 floor close to the enormous ski store lockers with easy acces to the skipiste.
Restaurants with great wide view on the slobes. As close as possibly can to the skilift that connects to both Levi and the +/- 50 km of well prepared pistes.
A nice trail through the forest near the hotel to a hut with open camp fire at 200m is worth the effort.
It is a real pity the bar on the 7th is closed as it has a beatiful view.

Restaurant Niliporo
The best Sami traditional food of Levi.
It is Set in a old school dressed 24 seat limestone clad housing directly at the main street near the Front Piste.
Stuffed animals and Sami tools on the walls not unlike a traditional dorfswirt in Austria.
The main dish is reindeer.
The filets are butter soft. Their Reindeer Tapas a must delicacy.
Wine is as expensive as the rest of Finland.

Snowvillage / The Icehotel near Yllas.
Beautifull but hard to get on a picture, there is just so much to see.

Reindeertour via Lapland Safari.
A nice short tour on top of the Levi fell, from Panorama Hotel an easy walk in the direction of restaurant Horizont.
Not seen the Northern Lights, ce ca.
It is perhaps too close to Levi with too much light pollution from the city bouncing on the clouds. With rather annoying snowmobiles too close. Which really destroy the Zen of the tour. I would rather choose a location at 40 miles into nothingness. walk over the frozen lake. Or snowmobile into the wilderness. If the Northern Lights is your thing.

Hidden hide of Santa tour.
For kids a trip back into the good Santa fairytale without modernism.
A must for young and old. Telling anything really would spoil the trip.

Husky Tour to Wild Motion
We really enjoyed our 10km husky tour.
5km or shorter really is too short.
Lapland Safari tour brings you with a bus and you have 40 min to enjoy the beauty of Lapland and the National Park until you arrive at the Husky Farm.
Husky puppy’s !!!!

We came here for our annual ski vacation, and we could not have been happier with everything. We stayed at a hotel 200 meters from the cable car, and close to all the ski rental shops, bars, restaurants and shopping areas. The ski resort itself includes lots of blue and red slopes, but what's unique in this specific resort is the off pistes. The low temperature at any given moment preserves the powder, and so we spent the entire week here and in Yllas skiing and exploring the wooden areas. It was the best ski experience we had. Throughout our entire vacation, we had clear sky and great weather, and the off peasts were incredibly fun.

Awesome place! You can ski - enjoy many slopes around, all are connected via lifts, you can run, cross-coutry ski, whatever you want! Recommend to you for sure.

The resort was everything we were hoping for. Fully snow covered trees, ability to hike out for plenty of glade riding, and great places to eat and drink. However, the avalanche signs and ski maps were completely covered and frozen in snow and ice. Be sure to bring a map with you, so you don't get stuck on the other side before closing!

We didn't ski but beautiful area. Great little nature trail at the top of the mountain (?) to the 'secret cafe'. Gondola ride not too expensive and fun for kids with great views

Let me start by saying I am a beginner skier so this was perfect for me! Lots of gentle slopes to hone your skills! I spent three days skiing and never felt like I was going to hurt myself! It’s small but it has everything you expect from a ski resort - Apre ski, restaurants, bars, etc. Plus the dogsledding snow mobiles, and if you are lucky, you will catch some Northern Lights (I was not). Love it here!

The snow condition on the slopes is good and they are well maintained. There's enough snow and ski slopes are quite empty, an off-piste skiing also possible. Ski lifts are effective, the newest ones are with heated seats. Above all beautiful snowy sights!

Beautiful scenic views, matched by exhilarating ski and sledge slopes. Everything for the hiday is to hand for holiday peeps with supermarket near by, rental companies for all your cold weather sporting needs and souvenir shops to buy the old witch of a grandmother something reindeer related.

Had to check the webcam available for the ski slope was live, slight delay but proved a point.

Got the gondelar to the top and back for 11 euro per person and had a cracker of an alcoholic drink to warm my cheeks up.

My new favourite holiday destination. Already planning on returning next year. Great selection of bars, restaurants and shopping, just a shame the opening restrictions were in place.

The majority of our party went on the slopes most days, and mixed in a few trips as well. The Husky safari is well worth doing, and the ice carting is a must.
