This place gives you insights of the life of an artist in early 1900 Finland. The house is beautifully laid out by the lakeside, has a sauna, and a garden where they used to harvest fresh fruits and vegetables. I totally recommend for a visit

Definitely worth visiting. A Finnish dream by the lake. Great views from second floor to the south, to the lake. Though all views from this estate are really classic Finnish.

Halosenniemi, home of one of the most iconic Finnish painters Pekka Halonen and his, is worth visiting even if you are staying in Helsinki. The small museum provides a good view on his art as well as his life in late 19th early 20th centuries. It is located next to beautuful Lake Tuusula and very close to Ainola, home of Jean Sibelius. While the museum does not have cafeteria, there are good places for both coffee and lunch nearby.
