Awesome photography place full of opportunities for wildlife, landscape and drone photography (make sure to contact the drone authorities in Finland before bringing your drone. Ensure you have the proper documentation. This location is quite close to the Russian border and is monitor by the Finnish border patrol. Do not get in trouble)

As a party of four we spent two nights in hides to see brown bears. The arrangements were excellent, the staff were very helpful, the food was very good and the accommodation was just what we wanted.
You go in the hide at around 4.30pm and come back the next morning at 7.30 am. We saw bears both nights - although this can never be guaranteed. There were bunks and sleeping bags in the hides and we slept when it was too dark to see anything. Mosquitos can be an issue - but this is Finland - so you just take precautions.
It was a once in a lifetime experience to see bears in the wild and we all loved it.

Great chance to see the wild bears. You stay in the hide from 5pm to 7am. You get a backpack with hot water for coffee or tea and something to eat. Everything is well organized.

Amazing experience in the middle of forest in northern Finland at the border with Russia. Very friendly staff, clean spaces indoor and outdoor. More than 25 hides walking distance from main building to watch bears and wolverines. We spent 3 days on wild animals watching with our group and everything was very well organized. Highly recommended!

Extremely wild experience with many Brown Bears and Wolverine at close range. Good food, helpful and friendly people, it all put into a fantastic setting in the Finnish taiga. Can't be better 😄😄😄

Great place to see bears in the wild. We saw 4 different bears in 5 hours of watching from the upper room in the bear House.

We‘ve been here the 2nd time and it was very very good again! Good accommodation, meals, clerks, and ofcourse, the bears and wolverines are there again. Different hides to sit and make photos of the animals at night.
We are going to come next year again! 👍😀

If you love wildlife photography or just enjoy nature, this place would give you THE BEST experience with wild Brown Bears encounters. It's very well organized and all the staff is so friendly and will take great care of you!

I have just spent a fantastic four nights here. I was not disappointed I saw bears every night and wolverines on two of them. Tarja cooked delicious vegetarian meals, thank you for looking after me. Nothing was too much trouble for her.
Juho was very patience answering all my email enquires.
Tatja picked me up from the airport and was extremely enthusiastic about the wildlife and knew the bears by sight.
Very comfortable beds. The hides were cosy. The scenery was stunning. All in all a great experience.

What an experience ! Wolverines running back and forth. A real big ear and a smaller one. All spotted trough a clear class qall of a good hotel room !
