I have been visiting Ethiopia for 10 years, yet this place is unique in its beauty, tranquility and views. A must for anyone who loves elegance. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The owner is a very loving and interesting person who I surley will meet again. Also the houses and beds are comfortable. The adorable nature and peace made me feel like in heaven. I could definitly heal from my daily stress. Many adventurous activities are available to make your stay unforgettable. During the visits to the traditional villages I was able to meet a lot of lovley people and experience unique moments. Definitely visit, it's worth it! Greetings from Switzerland

This February my brother and I had an incredible, rich in stories and impressions 6-days tour around Arba Minch and Omo Valley. The itinerary was suggested and then well organized by Dorze Lodge team, that I can’t thank enough. We visited and explored Dorze and Konso villages, Hamer, Dasenech, Bena and Ari tribes, but, honestly, so much more along the way. Weg (Wegders Yonas), our main guide, driver, companion, advisor, and negotiator was absolutely fantastic. He truly immersed us into the local specifics and shared the knowledge of so many things - flora and fauna, medicinal herbs, weaving techniques, building materials of different tribes, ordinary people beliefs, struggles and daily life. If we are to come back, will definitely continue our journey in the valley with him.

It was quite pleasant stay in Dorze Lodge. The scenery is just beautiful, cannot capture it on camera. You have to go and see directly. I experienced the Dorze village people life with well-experienced local guide.

This is nice lodge . It has everything you need to enjoy dorze for a couple of days. don't forget to enjoy the breathtaking views on lake chamo and abaya. The restaurant serves great lunch and dinner and trips to the dorze village can be arranged through the staff. We went to a compound of a local family to see the traditional weaving, processing false banana and for a traditional dance all together.

Don't forget to bring a sweater because it can get cold at night.

Such an amazing way of giving back to those who deserve it the most by creating environmental friendly places like Dorze Lodge Arba Minch. I travelled there for a vacation and loved the serenity of the place, the altitude, the cool fresh air, and the beautiful senary. It took my spirit to a whole different level and uplifted me to celebrate life and the environment around us specifically the nature and its gift the human being. I would love to go back with more time and may be take my whole family back there to experience the peace and meditation power it gives. Thanks to the owner and CEO of Dorze Lodge, Tsehai Bogale who is also very active in making sure that the local children get quality education by building a brand new school.

Authentic lodge with tranquil views over the lake, around one hours drive from Arba Minch. Running water and electricity available, along with a well supplied kitchen offering coffee and local foods.

Dorze village is one of the best experience we had in Ethiopia! We loved the staff, the view is spectacular! Truly magnificent place!

I would give the Dorze Lodge even more stars if I could. 5 doesn’t do it justice. The owner Tsehai is extraordinarily helpful and kind, and the lodge itself is wonderful. Also the village next door is really cool to check out.

Amazing view, quiet at night, good price. Food was a bit boring (we spent 2 nights and had the same dinner / breakfast was also very basic) and hot water did not work.

We had an amazing time with Dorse tribe. The Dorse lodge is on magnificant location with the neat view point.
