Ankober Palace lodge is a historical place with a breathtaking view and beautiful topography .It is found on the altitude of 2870 MASL and located 170 km northeast of Addis Ababa .This lodge include activities like bird watching ,trekking, museums,geographical and religious sites.They also offer a tent if you want to camp outside we went there in March it was very cold and foggy don’t forget to bring warm clothes.

It i is s very nice place with excellent mountain view. The only problem is getting down there. No decent roads. This is the birth place of the idea of modern Ethiopian city of Addis Ababas' master mind, Emperor of Ethiopia Menelik ll Lion of Juda.

An amazing Lodge with a great view and amazing food. I recommend the Ankober shiro & etete agelgel but the food takes a long time so it's better to order first and then visit the place.

Quite Historically Marvelous! Great for weekend getaway including hiking. Booking is recommended as they have limited rooms.

Located in a stunning position. Good rustic rooms with hot showers. Lovely restaurant with local food. Helpful and friendly staff.
