ሆቴል ኣፍሪካ | Africa Hotel and Restaurant

It was one of the nice hotels I have been to in Tigray, Ethiopia. The staff are very friendly although occasionally you might need to call out to give your order. Nice room. Works with a card system. TV,a chair, a table, and a wedrobe are available. The hot shower was not working, apparently, but there was a boiler inside. It's breakfast, including. I had "siga firfr" and it was amazing. I liked the draught beer there. Price relatively fair.

Probably the most convenient accommodation I used during my whole travel in Ethiopia. Rooms were clean and quiet. There are a pizzeria, restaurant, bar, night club and liquor shop available. The only issue we had was Internet connection, that was unavailable due to running on generators during blackout in the city, however the manager was very nice and helped us to book flights using phone instead of a webpage. Pizza was a little bit too dry, with not enough cheese and lack of sauce, otherwise the place presents really fair quality of service, especially comparing to Ethiopian standards.

Newly redone hotel with enjoyable indoor and outdoor space with variety of services well maintained in the compact but elegant hotel. There are more than 40 bedrooms from compact to wider and twin rooms. From the services side there is a coffee shop with good Machiato and Ice cream; a mini mart, a night club, men's and women's salon, a spa a bbc a game zone are to mention apart from the regular hotel facilities.
