Mercando has always bewn a great place to buy seafood and other items you can‘t get at the LIDL next door which is also great. They expanded the store and now you can even get fresh Paella or roasted chicken

One of the first visits when we are in Spain😄The staff is very nice and the own products are very good and cheap. The vegetables and fruits are fresh and abundant. The new parking lot is already better than the old, but unfortunately it is still quite complex with larger cars.

Best time to go is during “siesta” to avoid the crowds. Good quality “white label” products and some brand name items. Selection of seasonal fruits and veggies can be sparse and not a lot of options. Decent seafood market with reasonable prices. Prepackaged meats of reasonable quality. Charcuterie on site. Reasonable prices. Covered parking.

Mercandona, in my view, is the best supermarket in Spain and very reasonable 👌

Good quality food, good prices. They have their own brand range of toiletries (Deliplus) that I always buy when I visit. The hair products are very good. The Lidl next door is currently being refurbished but had a fairly limited range with less quality produce than Mercadona when we went last year. Mercadona stock gluten free products and lactose free milk.

Great supermarket with lots of underground parking. Trollies are free to use.
Even better mercadona has a really excellent online shopping website with delivery options right to your kitchen for those times when you need lots of stuff

The shop is well organized and trimmed so it is easy to find the products you need, the fruit and vegetable section is nice fresh and rarely any bad laying there. One thing I really love to see is that they clean the shopping baskets and it is a clean shop. I have never seen other supermarkets clean their shopping baskets and I always feel gross thinking about have dirty and full of germs they are. But not in Mercadona Elviria, here it is nice and clean.. This is my favorite place to do my shopping.
