After learning the story of how Amandolas came to being on Channel 4's, New Life in the Sun programme I knew I had to see it for myself and I was most definitely NOT disappointed.
On arrival, we were welcomed by both hosts Nick and Mandy who were so highly attentive throughout our stay.
We stayed in one of the guest suites which was very clean and catered for our every needs, air conditioning, Internet, small functional kitchenette etc.
The guest house itself is located in the most tranquil of settings, so peaceful for those looking to escape the every day noises in life.
To the front of the guest house there is plenty of space for vans to pitch up and if you are an avid traveller looking to wake up somewhere so picturesque- you won't be disappointed.
The guest house also consists of a social area with fully stocked bar with snacks and a fantastic menu is available- the nachos were most definitely a firm favourite!
There was also a small pool available which will be a must for those hot summer months.
Returning to the bar area it is such a relaxed intimate setting that gives you the opportunity to meet the rest of the residents on site and exchange travelling stories etc or the option to have your own space.
For those travelling looking for walks and bike trails nearby, I highly recommend downloading the Wikiloc app that will show you all the available routes nearby that best suit your ability.
Also for those travelling with children the grounds are fully enclosed, plenty of room for children to play safely.
I want to finish off by just thanking the hosts again for ensuring our stay was memorable from start to end.

The place is so tranquil and beautiful. The owners were so welcoming and great fun to be around. Can't speak more highly of their hospitality. My partner fell in love with Rodney and Derek the marauding donkeys. Amanda produced some amazing food for us and the prices for drinks at the bar are very reasonable. Oh and the karaoke🎤 was funny too. The accommodation is first class especially for the rates charged. We even stayed another night in a tent ⛺ as the rooms were fully booked up, and that was great fun too!!!

We have stayed almost three weeks in one of the rooms in the guest house and it was really good. Amanda and Nick are friendly and helpful and will make you feel really comfortable. The service they deliver is outstanding. The rooms are clean, shower works good and when it is hot there is airconditioning in the bedroom. If you want Amanda will make you lovely diners a few days a week and Nick is a perfect host. There is a small bar where you can get a drink for a very reasonable price, together with the other guests or just by yourself enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

The accommodation was very clean well equipped and comfortable. Amanda and Nick were perfect hosts, the pool and jacuzzi allowed a get way of cooling off. My grand daughter loved Derick and Rodney the donkeys. I would definitely recommend Amandolas for a quiet but friendly stay.

A lovely place to stay. I extended my stay for 2 nights because I enjoyed it so much. The owners are really friendly, open, respectfull and lovely. The spot is really calm and peaceful, please take respect of it. The owners are really giving their hole heart in this area to make everyone feel safe and comfortable. Please respect this place and keep it that lovely as it is!
I traveld with my tent and a car, it was no problem, I could stay where I wanted to place my stuff. Also the bar is really nice, you can order drinks and food for a fair price. If you want you can have a nice conversation. Thanks for having me!

We stayed here around five weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed it, so came back for another week. It really is the perfect place to relax, read, have a drink and eat some great home made food. There are beautiful white villages within easy striking distance. Away from the crowds - yes please!

Amanda and Nick made us feel welcomed immediately. The bar is always open. Food is home made and delicious. Toilettes and showers are new and clean. Laundry service ! Clothes smells so good afterwards. The view is great... mountains against blue skies. The night sky even better. So many stars. It's peaceful here. Thank you Amanda and Nick for making our stay a great expérience.

We have regularly visited Amandolas and can not recommend it highly enough. Excellent food, great hosts and fabulous location. Great value for money, Mandy and Nick are excellent hosts and nothing is too much trouble.

Stayed here for 5 nights and honestly can't recommend it enough, room was absolutely spotless, had everything we needed, the location is just absolutely stunning and Nick and Mandy we're amazing hosts, got a lovely little bar an site and the food is lovely too, we didn't arrive till late but had some food and drinks waiting for us in the room, will definitely be returning.

Schön und ruhig, genau das Richtige wenn man eine Auszeit vom Küstentourismus braucht. Umfangreiche Auswahl an Getränken und selbstgemachtes Essen zu günstigen Preisen zu haben. Ich hatte das vegetarische Curry und kann es sehr empfehlen.
