Hotel Montelirio

We will definitely be coming back here. Truly a little taste of heaven. Everything from the helpful and welcoming staff to the views right outside our bedroom window were just absolutely spectacular. Since we chose the parking option when reserving our room, upon our arrival we temporarily parked our car in the proper spot, we gave the nice man at the front desk our keys, and they took our car to the car park! When we needed to leave they brought it back asap. Our room was spotless and even had a bottle of water for us when we arrived. The building itself is beautiful and very well kept. We definitely recommend getting the breakfast in the morning. So many great options and if you have any questions or need help the staff is there for you! Not to mention the amazing view as you sit and eat. We look forward to the day that we step back into your hotel! Thank you very much!

Such a lovely hotel with drop dead views. We ate breakfast there and it was a terrific buffet with delicious, nutritious and decadent options. And the buffet had exquisite views Both people we dealt with at the reception desk provided excellent concierge services. Including getting us tickets, reserving cabs and helping us navigate the area We will upgrade to a room with a view when we visit again - our room was small but well decorated and the linens were excellent!

Excellent hotel located right at the edge of the gorge in the old town. Just steps from the iconic bridge. Great restaurant, as well. Highly recommended.

It is a perfect experience for us. The suite has excellent views and is romantic. Restaurant downstairs is amazingly good. All the staff are nice and helpful. Would strongly recommend both the Junior Suite and the restaurant.

The staff here are absolutely incredible. They said they wanted it to feel like home and it truly did. Anything I could possibly need they helped me get. Water, a taxi when all were unavailable in all of Ronda, a drink by the pool, anything. The view was amazing from my room. I loved the antique design and old feel of the place. And the location was so great - close to everything yet nice and quiet.

My wife and I stayed two nights in early Sep 2023, in a Double Room with Views (#103). View was stupendous over the ravine and famous bridge. Bed comfort was heavenly. Towels and bed linen were luxurious. Location unbeatable due to view and ease of walking to sights and restaurants. Service was very good. Parking provided at safe site located about a 5 minute walk away. When unloading/loading our vehicle, we did not park directly in front of hotel, but about 20 meters past the hotel at a small intersection (in front of bldg #16) so as not to block the narrow road.

My only hesitation in reviewing this hotel is that it will become so popular I won’t be able to book a room for our return. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were beautiful. The scenery and views from the room, the patio for dinner and breakfast area were beautiful. On a hot August day, the dipping pool was a nice bonus.

We came to the Restaurant which was recommended by our local guide. Superb service and food. The view is also extraordinary. Just above tge new bridge.

Great view on the gorge from the hotel room. Good sized bedroom, nice bathroom. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. We were checking out very early in the morning however the member of staff offered us a coffee and bread.

Been here before - it is outstanding! The views are wonderful and staff is really pleasant.

For us this was a wonderful experience and visit. Even with our limited time. Nice and friendly staff helped us with our questions. The room was splendid, old school style with a magnificent view to the bridge. I must mention the fabulous restaurant they have. We had dinner there and loved it. Large portions, so order to share. At least the starter and dessert. Poolside area was small but quite enough for us. The hotel is in the most central part of Ronda.

The room was gorgeous, I had kind of like an attic type room, small but very cute, the bed was fairly comfortable, if a tad cold in the Spanish winter, but they had good heating. I heard there was a plunge pool but I never found it. But the view from the hotel is absolutely stunning. Its very centrally positioned and the staff were all lovely.

The hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly. The hotel is located in good location. Very easy to drive to, especially if you pay the hotel for parking. Just drive up the one way street into the hotel entrance and they will take your keys an park for you. From the hotel, all the bars and restaurants were accessible within 10 minute walk. The view from our small balcony was amazing! You could see the bridge and the mountains in the distance. Seeing the sunset over the mountains was icing on the top. Overall, wonderful hotel and staff. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely rooms, slight vertigo on the balcony overlooking the gorge. Very good service and unbeatable location.

This is a sophisticated hotel built into the side of the gorge with panoramic views from the New Bridge, across the gorge and then opening out to the valley and the distant mountains. We had a split level suite with balcony which was worth the modest extra charge. The staff were professional yet friendly and helpful. Whilst the hotel is great have some good shoes and get out and explore. Make sure your fit though because it's very steep. Would we go back - in a heartbeat.

This was an experience beyond expectations. This wonderful hotel perched overlooking the bridge has to have the best views in Ronda. Our suite was perfection with beautiful antique furniture and the biggest four-poster bed ever. The restaurant, coupled with incredible views ensured our custom three nights out of four. A perfect oasis for anyone visiting Ronda.

Absolutely stunning views and close to town. Walking distance from restaurants and sites.
Not the cheapest but worth every penny for a special treat.

Hotel and rooms were perfect! The restaurant was great overall especially the view. The food was a little on the expensive side. The food was 4 stars out of 5 but not 5 since it wasn't amazing. Definitely some highlights but coupled with the view a wonderful afternoon.
